I bought some sliced beef for bulgogi here, but I was really disappointed this time.
After thawing it, about half of the meat had turned brown and it smelled bad. I used to think this butcher shop was pretty good, but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back

My newest go to spot for beef and pork, marinated and not.

Perfect for those bbq days, indoors and outdoors. We got the bulgogi beef and it was on sale at the time for $9.99/lb which is a great price for pre marinated beef

For those lazy days, you open it up and throw it in the pan. Super convenient and if you want the au naturale feel of meat, they got that too

People working here are super friendly. Helping me with a smile and very cheery attitude

I’m not sure if the man was the owner or not but the service was absolutely terrible
I simply asked which of the two types of pork belly he would recommend and he replied “Why should I take responsibility for your choice?” I was shocked
I never asked him to take responsibility
I only asked for a recommendation

Later I asked if they had pork skirt and he told me they didn’t
I said okay and ordered something else
While waiting for my order I saw pork skirt meat in the fridge
When I asked if it was reserved he insisted again that they didn’t have it
Only after I pointed it out and another female staff member confirmed that they did have it he finally apologized

I will never visit this place again and I definitely won’t recommend it to anyone

I might be just one unlucky customer but I'd be cautious. We bout 10 lbs of short ribs. They were cut frozen Friday evening and we put them in the fridge that night about 4 hours later. They were in the trunk but it was maybe 10°C outside that night. Two days later we opened the bag to marinate the meat but it was rotting badly. We took it back this morning and got the money back but with a lecture rather than an apology. They basically told us we should have consumed it right away. (I wonder if all the restaurants that source the meat from this place would consume them right away. Highly unlikely. )
They did have green inspection sign but be careful with the frozen meat here. You never know how many times it have been thawed and frozen again.
