What a delightful bonus from our visit to Calamus winery!

2027 Cellars, which is a separate project of Kevin Panagapka, the winemaker at adjoining Calamus, offers a completely different series of wines available in a very cozy tasting room. Our host on our visit, Bob, was very gracious with his time and knowledge not only about 2027 Cellars vintages but about his own wine and winery experiences. Complimentary tastings are a nice touch, but Kevin's wines are the reason to stop in.
Everything we tried was quite good, but our favourites (several of which came home with us, of course) were the 2020 Wismer Fox-croft Cab Franc and the 2022 Wismer Fox-croft Reisling.
Take time to wander around the walking trails at Calamus' vineyards along 18 mile creek as a pleasant way to extend your visit to 2027 Cellars (and Calamus of course).

This charming winery has delicious wine in a fun and cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed learning about the different varieties and of course tasting them too. The sparkling wine and their Pinot Noir was among our favourites. Bob was incredible and a true professional that made our day.

This our second, and favorite stop on our Crush Wine Tour. The last cab from 2020 was delicious, I had to take home a bottle.
Our sommelier, Bob, was so fun and knowledgeable. He was nice bough to take a pic with our crazy bachelorette group.

Wonderful little place with great wines. They had us in for a tasting on a whim and took great care of us. The Riesling and cab franc were our favourites!

I love visiting wineries where the winemakers and staff are passionate about wine and what they do. It certainly was the case here! We visited this winery as part of a tour and our tasting experience was superb! The person doing our tasting explained each wine and answered any questioned we had. It was very interactive and a lot of fun! Would come back!

Just had a great tasting at 2027, we were a group of 10 without an appointment and Nicole was kind enough to fit us in. The wine is AMAZING and super glad we were able to sample it. We signed up for the wine club membership and love the concept. fabulous friendly experience.

Recently tried their wines at a ride and vine event. Ended up buying a half case I f the Reds. Week after we tried the wismer Chardonnay at Treadwell and now purchased a half case of that. Great wines with enough body to let you know really enjoy the wines. Very Burgundian in style. Highly recommended
