This is not a breeder! This is a puppy mill that should NOT be selling nor breeding! These dogs have rage syndrome and it is very sad! I purchased a female tri Aussie she has had nothing but problems with aggression.
When picking up Linda said she had over 30 pups to sell. Her female that gave birth to our Izzy presented the same way as to what our Izzy did/does; with fear and aggression. She can be unpredictable to others so she is only allowed around our family, she will attack, she has taken an eye out of our cat and they now have to be separated at all times.
She is absolutely full aggressive toward young children.
We have taken Izzy to many trainers with one trainer that has helped the most, but we still have to her medicated daily.
She is very lucky to be with our family as many in her litter were put down due to their similar aggression.
UNFORTUNATELY IN BC The only way to shut down breeders like these is word of mouth very sad.

Great place! All the animals were well cared for, people were very kind. I got a male blue Merle natural half tail pup from Linda back in 2017 and he’s one of the best dogs I have ever had the privilege of owning. Perfect disposition, smartest dog I have ever known, (rocket scientist in a dogs body) he’s both a working cattle dog and a born service dog. I love him to bits! I highly recommend 3 winds ranch, good prices as well, worth every penny.

Do not buy a dog from this woman. One is seems very puppy millish, she does not do the proper testing to ensure there won't be any issues, nor does she research breeding dogs, specifically dachshunds. She bred two doxies that should have never been bred together (piebald & a dapple) , and now I have a dog with two incurable, and one untreatable issues. And she does not stand by her animals when there's a problem. Do not buy anything unless you want to spend a ton of money buying the animal, and have enormous vet bills there after.

I have been there many times and experienced all of the dogs first hand and all at the same time. There is not a bad dog in the whole pack, literally no aggression shown in any dog. The Dogs are very well cared for and obey commands. Very knowledgeable breeder. All the dogs show great affection. We are very privileged to have the opportunity to own a puppy from Rufus and Molly’s litter. Do your research before buying an Australian shepherd dog, and more than a quick google search. Not a novice dog breed. Brilliant dogs by a brilliant breeder!

Would not recommend purchasing any puppies from this breeder. Our puppy was from parents Rufus and Dory. When we arrived to pick our puppy up (at the time it was Covid and we weren’t able to meet the puppies or parents beforehand), we were told Dory had been returned due to aggression issues and that we couldn’t look at her or pet her - this should have been our first red flag.
We had to put our girl down at only 2.5 years old for severe aggression issues (two year bite history, aggression towards other dogs but especially towards adults and kids). This is the fifth puppy from this breeder we know of who has had to be put down for these issues in addition to tens of others we have found dealing with similar aggression problems with their dogs. After reaching out to the breeder in a group of five families to let her know of the puppies she is producing, we were all blamed for being “bad dog owners” and that the aggression was a result of our bad upbringing. We personally went through 4 trainers and did an intensive 4 week board and train program (specifically for dogs who need to be rehabilitated) and yet we were unsuccessful. We were warned at 6 months old from our vet that this was a genetic issue and unfortunately couldn’t out-train it.
Our dog was incredibly fortunate in that she got ample physical activity a day plus mental stimulation - our jobs allowed us to never have her home alone for full work days. We knew getting an Aussie would require this and this was not an issue.
The inability for this breeder to take any responsibility for bad breeding and then to continue breeding puppies from the same parents is absolutely horrifying. The poor families who have had to go through what we have gone through emotionally is so sad. I hope anyone reading the reviews can seriously rethink getting an Aussie from this breeder.

Breeds Amazing Level Headed Horses!

The babies have the best temperament and are handled and worked with until they are sold. Our Three Winds Ranch baby has matured into a solid, respectful horse and is a testament to the breeder, the breeding and all the handling he had before we brought him home.

I've had the pleasure of purchasing 2 puppies through 3 Winds Ranch. My first pup is turning 12 in August and has been nothing but a wonderful companion. I recently was able to get another puppy from Rufus and Molly's litter and she also has been a wonderful pupppy. These are incredibly brilliant dogs who need stimulation and your time. Australian Shepherds are a breed that take time and patience but the reward of having an incredibly well mannered dog is worth every second of your time. Do your research before buying an Australian Shepherd. Linda is wonderful with communication and her dedication to taking care of the puppys until the day they depart to their new homes. She is really informative and passionate about what she does. I highly recommend 3 Winds Ranch if an Australian Shepherd is the kindof puppy you're looking for!

The breeder did not socialize their dogs properly. I purchased an 18-week-old puppy with severe socialization issues. Within five days of bringing the puppy home, it attacked my 5-year-old child four times, one of which resulted in a bite close to his eye. It also attacked my dad and my neighbor's dog.

I am an experienced dog owner, having owned herding breeds and terriers before. I am not using the term "attack" loosely here. The puppy's behavior was not reactive fear or provoked in any way. It was a sudden and unprovoked attack. I have taught my children how to approach and handle dogs respectfully, and I did not allow my youngest child to play with the puppy unsupervised.

After five days of having the puppy, I became concerned and contacted the breeder to inquire if the puppy had a history of aggression that could have traumatized it. To my surprise, the breeder promptly agreed to take the puppy back.

I consulted two dog trainers, both of whom informed me that they had worked with previous customers from the same breeder who had serious issues with aggression that could not be trained out of their dogs. Some customers even had to euthanize their dogs due to their aggressiveness. This information, along with negative reviews on Google and Facebook, caused me further concern.

Additionally, I discovered that the breeder had not identified themselves on their Kijiji ad, which prevented me from seeing any bad reviews or seeking referrals beforehand - a red flag.

Despite my efforts to work with the puppy for another six days, the fearfulness and aggressiveness did not improve, and the puppy refused to leave my house due to fear. As a family, we decided to return the puppy after 11 days in total. The breeder refunded me 65% of the purchase price but blamed my child's hyperactivity for the puppy's behavior. She also mentioned that the puppy now had a history of aggression, and she could not provide a full refund as she would probably have to euthanize the puppy.

In addition to the purchase price, I had already spent over 70% of the cost on high-quality kibble, treats, toys, crate, and veterinary appointments for an eye infection and a chipped canine tooth that the puppy already had before I brought it home.

I acknowledge that I could have conducted better research, and bringing a puppy home outside of the 8-13 week socialization window is risky. However, if a breeder has a history of issues related to aggressiveness in their dogs, they should reconsider their breeding practices and procedures as well as the genetics of their dogs. Australian Shepherds should not be aggressive at all, even as a herding/working breed.

Owning a dog is a long-term commitment, and even with prior experience, it is not worth the risk of getting a dog with bad genetics.
