If you like wine, don’t go here. Their wines are terrible. Paid $40 for 2 flights & didn’t even finish any of the wines as they were so bad. Gimmicky & over priced.

And seeing as 40 Knots have flagged this an ‘not legitimate’ as they clearly cannot handle an honest review, I am adding a photo of proof that we went to the winery & didn’t finish our flights as the wine is vile.

We were feeling a little defeated trying to find the right wedding venue until we found 40 Knots Winery! From the get go we loved their terraced floor-to-ceiling glass building that overlooked the vineyard, stunning! The customer service that was provided to us throughout the planning process was second to none. We used their day of coordinator service and our coordinator(s) took the time with us to truly understand the vision for our special day and they made sure it was executed flawlessly on the day of our wedding. Before our BIG day we had faith in them to get the job done right. On the day of our reception the staff went out of their way to make sure that we (the bride and groom) were well looked after. They catered to our needs (without us asking them to) and made sure we had a drink in our hand and food to eat! They executed the coordination seamlessly making sure every detail was accounted for. They were able to discretely make sure everything got done. They did a good job ironing out small fires the day of our wedding without concerning us, so that we could just be in the moment. We would highly recommend 40 Knots Winery to anyone considering using them as their wedding venue.

We came for the biodynamic and organic agricultural practices and stayed for the wine! We enjoyed our 30 minute tasting with Trevor so much that we left with a case of wine and a membership. We can't wait for our quarterly boxes of wine. The tasting was excellent quality with thoughtful food and wine pairings and plenty of educational information. Highly recommend 40 Knots for sustainable and quality wine in Comox Valley. Don't miss the interpretative trail.

We had such a fantastic experience at 40 Knots! The wine is really incredible, and we ordered a pic-nic basket that was absolutely amazing! The grounds are beautiful and we will definetly be back soon!

We had an excellent tasting of 6 of the wines produced at 40 Knots, introduced by a very well informed guide. The wines were accompanied by locally produced crackers, cheeses, pickled grapes and chocolate. The shop and seating areas are all welcoming and very high quality. We enjoyed it so much we intend to go back tomorrow to have a cheese and charcuterie board together with a glass of their delicious wine. Our favourite was the Carambolage
