Very impressed with how ethical of a breeder Whitney is. From genetic and health testing, puppy evaluations and screening potential owners, she does everything she possibly can to make sure the puppies and owners are the best match for each other. She tries her best to set you up for success. I love the support I get from her with any questions or concerns I may have. Her many years of experience definitely shows. Also all her events she puts on has helped my dog and I become a better team. If you're looking for an amazing breeder or even things to do with your dogs, Whitney is who you need to see!!!

I have a Corgi puppy, Nellie, who has been a unique challenge for me. She displays a strong sense of protectiveness towards me, reacting to everything she perceives as a threat. Initially, I felt apprehensive about attending training classes, fearing judgment for her attitude and aggression. However, Whitney and Autumn at Flatlands Kennels changed that for me. They welcomed us with open arms, and I have been going there ever since. My puppy, Nellie, loves the girls and especially her Auntie Autumn.

After participating in several sessions and receiving dedicated guidance from Autumn during drop-in trainings, I've witnessed a remarkable transformation in Nellie's behavior. While there's still progress to be made, I'm incredibly grateful for Autumn's support and expertise. I am so thankful for Autumn and all the hard work and dedication she has put into training Nellie. After doing a drop-in session at Bud Miller, I've seen such a remarkable improvement in Nellie's behavior. She's making better choices and showing tremendous progress!

If you are looking for training, daycare, or boarding, Flatlands Kennels is my go-to place. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. They have helped Nellie immensely, and I couldn't be happier with the services they provide. I highly recommend Flatlands Kennels to anyone in need of quality care for their pets.

So much potential but we really did have a terrible time at their K9 games today. Maybe it's more for regulars?

Lack of signage, trys felt overpriced. We were told for $20 we could try 2 events three times each. Not a smart structure when your dog might "try" an event once and find out your dog dislikes it. We attended last year and wasted about $40 learning which events were hard "no's", but staff punch your card before the first try.

Went at 11:30am this year because we wanted to do the Dock Dive and they were closed for Tries in the afternoon because they have sessions. Dock dive staff was great.

Got to the Rat Finding event at noon exactly and was told, rather rudely, that staff was going on an 1hr lunch break. I double-checked the facebook event, no mention of everything being close for an hour from 12-1pm.

So we waited an hour. No water available for dogs, no food vendors for humans (last year my daughter had taco in a bag, she was so disapointed).

There was a pen full of balls the dog liked and a little penned playground he played in. The same staff who were on 'lunch break' came over to tell us not to let the dog break anything (we would never) and that the area was usually for boarders. Still not certian if we were allowed to be in there. It did have a nice little pool big enough that our dog could have swam, but it wasn't filled.

There was also a Foam Machine our dog enjoyed last year that was not turned on this year.

During our hour wait a staff member did walk past us openly smoking marijuana so that was lovely. There was also a lot of casual swearing from staff which my father found off-putting. Just in general no one was really trying to be professional.

At 1:00pm we finally got to do the rat race: once. So I guess the $20 to "try" 2 events 3 times each was really one event 3 times and the rat race once. Not worth waiting around for an hour or the $20.

On the drive home the family decided the most disapointing thing about the Harvest K9 Games is how much potential it had. I would have gladly paid $50/$60 for day entry. The staff, frankly, outnumbered the visitors while we were there and could have staggered lunch breaks. Would have loved to see the small pool filled and to have felt welcomed in that little area. Would have loved an off-leash area to socialize. Any sort of food for sale would have also been nice, an obviously an obvious watering area for dogs. And the signage at the event, and advertising the event could be improved to eliminate confusion and disappointment.

I have brought out dog to Flatlands Kennels multiple times now. Whitney is great to work with, flexible, reliant, and trust worthy. Her rates are very reasonable! I never have to worry about my pup when we want to go away for a weekend, week or longer. I can't recommend Flatlands Kennels enough!

There is no one else I would trust to leave my dog with, they are amazing here. She is part of our family and is treated the same here. Our dog being reactive wasn't an issue and was handled with the care and attention needed. Her classes are also extremely helpful, she is very knowledgeable and the results are amazing.

As a dog professional myself it was wonderful to attend an event with my own dogs and have such a great time. The Harvest Games had something for everyone, welcoming staff and clean well laid out facility grounds. Will absolutely be back. ?

Had a great time at the k9 games this year like every year! Really appreciated the variation between the spring and harvest games, a timeline for events was posted on their Facebook page which made it really easy to do the things you wanted between 9-12 or 1-5.

I have taken numerous seminars and training classes with Flatland Kennels and also used their lloyd locations services. They are amazing. 5 star's across the board

We send both of my dogs here. Hemi and Harley are always excited and enjoy their time there. They are always accommodating and efficient with their response times. They both come back pooped out and happy. Harley even allows them to clip his nails which is a miracle.
