For approximately 50 years I have been using Red River Cereal as a breakfast item and as muffins. This has been a favorite of all my family and friends for years given as gifts or just a friendly gesture. Recently, to my surprise I went to purchase Red River Cereal and found out it is no longer being produced after being bought out by Sunny Boy Foods Ltd. who then discontinued this product.
In good faith I purchased a bag of Sunny Boy and attempted to make muffins and morning cereal. This a terrible substitute for Red River cereal tasting just like wall paper paste.
Unless Red River Cereal magically reappears I will not longer have my favorite muffins. I have since thrown our the Sunny Boy.

This cereal used to be the one I measured all others against, now I see so few flax - it has lowered it's standard that is sad to see. I mean, if we just wanted a bowl of regular rolled oats or cream of wheat we would just have that. Red River is a better bowl of breakfast cereal as it has a much nicer mix of grains. Sad, I used to LOVE sunny boy - grew up with it. Sad to see this. Hope you develop a better mix of grains.
