The best part of my visit was 'Lydia'...a lovely young employee. She is to be commended for an outstanding performance..she was happy to help me locate products while engaging, socially with customers. A very impressive young lady. Intelligent enough to have such a strong grasp on the importance of customer service..an asset to Independent. As a tip, I rewarded her and her coworker a monster chocolate bar. Well deserved ladies. First time I actually enjoyed grocery shopping. Thanks Lydia.

This is our go to grocery store. More fresh produce, meats and fish. We will be driving the extra km to get our food stuff. And it has great helpful staff. And on Wednesday you get a very nice 10% senior discount.

I am no longer happy with this store. On several occasions recently I have been overcharged for items. The first time the cashier was nice enough to help me find which soups were actually on sale. The sale tins were on the bottom shelf and poorly marked.

A week later I was overcharged for an item in my order. I went back for a price adjustment. The item was no longer on sale. The price had been changed in the system, but the shelf price had not been changed. The price was adjusted, with an apology. However, I used my gas and time to get the issue resolved. Not acceptable.

Just this week I was I purchased an item clearly marked at 50% off. I checked my slip before I left the store, but didn't catch the error. I realized when I got home that I had been charged full price!

That's it. Unless it's an emergency, I will no longer be shopping at Miller's Independent.
