Some of the staff at Flannigan’s could use a little more training… But otherwise everyone was very friendly, and very knowledgable of the products sold on the premises. It was great to see some meat products that are very rare and hard to find in most stores in most big cities… Coming from Toronto, I was very happy to see some very odd meat products (like blood pudding, which I honestly can’t stand, but my mother loves it, and I happened to come across it just in time for her birthday!) … my husband says that the bacon is the best he has ever had. We also decided to experiment by trying different meats and lobster ravioli, etc.
we are extremely impressed with the service and the quality of the meats. If you are driving through Lakefield, I highly recommend you stop in and pick up some great steaks or prime rib… You will not regret it!

I went into this butcher shop for the first time on the way to the cottage, initially to pick up a brisket for our smoker. The owner discussed alternative options for us, he was knowledgeable and friendly, total pro. I will be back for years to come. Great business sense.

I have been coming up here for 10 years to a cottage and finally decided to stop in here. Treated myself to a nice rib eye. I can't remember the butchers name but he was very helpful and gave me some Barabarians rub for the steak. Great place lots of selections will stop in next year for sure

This is one of the best shopping places in the area. Always friendly and helpful, take orders in advance, and the quality is extremely good. Whenever I have had any issue and those were rare, they quickly resolved the issue to my satisfaction. They provide and smile and great service, this should be one of your first places when obtaining any meat!
