The cheeses are excellent. There are several small cheese tastings to try, which is good for knowing which ones you prefer. The owner was very kind. We bought Sofa King cheese, a more spicy one. On the label, there is a QR code where you can see which cows have produced the cheese you are eating. We found it very pleasant. In addition, the dog Bella is very sociable.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FARM!!!💙 I thought it would be financially impossible to achieve this level of care for each individual cow on a farm, but they manage to make it come true!!💙 I thought I was lactose intolerant but I did not react to their Koksilah cheese😱

I am extremely impressed with the way they approach cow calf contact, longevity of a cow’s life, extended lactation, human-cow bond, pasture access, traceability… the list goes on and on.

Thank you Henry & Renee for spending so much time chatting with us and the cheese tastes amazing! Thank you for the cows who contributed their milk 🐄

How cool is this place!! Unfortunately it was closed today when we went, but ... there is a CHEESE VENDING MACHINE!! It may just be the coolest thing i have ever seen. We bought three cheeses to try, and they are all fantastic. I can't wait to go back during their regular business hours to check out more!!

I highly recommend visiting this adorable property. Bella, the cheese shop dog, is an enthusiast good girl and greeter who would very much like all the belly rubs, please.

Once you have paid the belly rub tax, or not, you can either partake of the assortment of cheeses in the vending machine — convenient for those artisanal after-hours cheese emergencies we have all suffered — or you can go on into the shop and try an assortment of their yummy cheeses. The owner is lovely.

I bought a big wedge of Shawnigan. It’s delicious cheese.

Plus, I paid 33% less than the same cheese sells for at the Old Country Market. Buy direct, kids!

Will definitely recommend my friends to visit if exploring Cowichan Valley. It’s exactly the kind of down-a-country-road adventure you want. We spotted a bear along the way, too!

Saw the sign on our way to our airbnb up the road, left with way too much cheese because of their amazing prices and samples! (And we're going back to the vending machine too)

Arguably the best cheese I've had on the island! Visited for the first time yesterday with my wife and we were really impressed. The owner is so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. They've got a great selection and are very reasonably priced. Their care and passion really shows in the end product. Happy cows really do make great cheese. We'll definitely be back!

Once you try this cheese I promise you won’t turn back. Quality, taste and flavours are far superior to any cheese I’ve had in my life. Really nice wholesome vibes on the farm. And the owners are a pleasure to talk too.
