Our dog got into some holiday chocolate and we had to rush him in to get him looked after. We were able to go in right away and deal with it. Thank you so much! Our dog is like a family member so it's nice to know that we can get such good treatment for him.

I wish I could give two 5 star ratings! I cannot speak highly enough about Van isle Veterinary Hospital. Everyone there is very professional, welcoming and a very high attention to detail.
During a very stressful time they made me feel calm and welcomed. Explained everything that was going on in a calm manner and never sugar coated the progress or news. You can just feel the love for animals that they all have. Highly highly recommended!

We have four cats and a dog and trust them to the staff at Van Isle Veterinary Hospital. Everyone there is super friendly, attentive and helpful. They always make a great effort to get my pets in last minute whenever an unexpected emergency arises. Highly recommend

Overall very good vet. Couldn't give 5 stars though because of a bad experience I had, and I hope to help others avoid a similar one. Long story short, they tell you to call if you have follow up questions. Don't. I had my animal checked, and at the end of the checkup the vet told me to call if I had any follow up questions. Well I had a question so I called, and with the receptionist I booked an appointment to talk to the vet. Then a couple days later I talked to the vet for less than 5 minutes to ask my question. I go in to the vet today, 2 months later to get a refill on my animal's medicine, and they spring an "$80 outstanding balance" because of a "phone consultation" charge on me. This fee was never mentioned at any point when talking to the vet or when talking to the receptionist. Naturally, I am livid. Aside from this, great vet. I will continue to have my animal's cared for here but will definitely bring my notepad next time. Not paying a day's wages to ask a guy a question. No one's time is worth that much.

A good vet office which offers a variety of veterinarians to choose from.
My dog is a rescue, and hates going to the vet and the groomer. BUT! van isle vet has done a great job of providing kind and gentle veterinary care to my not-so-easy dog. It takes 3 people to trim my dogs nails because he hates it so much a and they do a great job every time. My only reason for not voting 5 stars is because van isle vet gets extremely busy sometimes and it can take a little longer to get in/get ahold of them than at your typical smaller vet hospital.

Our poor little fur baby needed urgent care on a Sunday afternoon! Found this fantastic place on Google! They took us in right away and took great care of our baby! The kindest "hoomans" work there, from the initial phone call, to when we reunited with our ball o' fur,
2-1/2 hours after closing...on a SUNDAY!! Amazing people, amazing care
(for all 3 of us) Highly recommend them if your want excellent care for your furry ones!!!
