The flowers are always fresh and the attention to detail in creating the assortment is amazing. The owner is friendly and the price is reasonable for top quality fresh flowers. A gem in the village. Decent assortment of foliage and flora. I’ve visited three times, and each time service was less than friendly. However, she did explain how she would attend early morning auctions in order to get various specialty flowers for her store.

Costs are high end- $6-$7/stem for roses, $3/carnation stem, $4-$5 for chrysanthemums (usually special species but generally a cheaper flower)

Flowers are packaged nicely with floral food included.

I generally appreciate a more accommodating atmosphere for a place that specializes in gifting beauty, in the form of floral arrangements and such. Especially, when I make efforts to go into Ladner before closing at 530pm.

I will keep to floral shopping in Vancouver. Best

I became a customer of Sonia’s Flowers in 2014 during my son’s graduation. Sonia and her son Daniel are so wonderful. Their floral arrangements are always fresh and beautiful. On occasion while walking by their shop, I would pop in and purchase a bouquet for my home. I swear their bouquets helped sell my house when we listed it in 2018. It’s 2021 and when I wanted to send a Ladner friend a bouquet of flowers, the first shop I though of was Sonia’s. I called from Calgary and explained what I envisioned. Daniel took down all the details and then sent me a photo before delivery. It is beautiful, and exactly what I wanted to send to my friend. What a wonderful hometown floral shop.

I made a last minute phone order. Daniel was super! I described what I wanted sent and he emailed me a picture before it was sent out to make sure it was what I wanted. It was exactly what I wanted and it was a beautiful bouquet.! I needed the flowers delivered within the next hour and half. The flowers were delivered promptly and just at the right time to celebrate my friend's birthday. She was so pleased with the bouquet. Said it was the most beautiful bouquet she had ever gotten! I would not hesitate to recommend Sonia's Flowers and will definitely be using them again!

I live in England and wanted to send a very special Christmas bouquet to my friend in Tsawwassen. Daniel talked me through what was possible, sent me advance pictures, and patiently changed them on my request. My friend who has just received them phoned me to say that the flowers are "exquisite, so artistic and unusual" --the best flowers she has ever received! And the delivery driver was lovely too. I called to arrange for a floral delivery for a friend recovering from surgery. Daniel was quick to ask if I had anything in mind and then offered some great suggestions. I went with one of his suggestions and he then texted me a photo of the beautiful orchid arrangement he had put together. He then checked in to ask what would be a good time to deliver, and finally sent another text when delivery took place. Not sure if I did something wrong by walking into look at plants but I was met with a hostile "I don't want your business" type of vibe. She didn't look up at me once and only answered one of my questions on when they closed. I planned to leave there with gifts and make it a regular stop as it's close to home. After her attitude I'll happily make a drive to somewhere that values new customers. I work in customer service and if I behaved that way I'd no longer have a job. I'm not one to leave reviews but this left a bad taste in my mouth.
