I adopted Theo almost 4 months ago now. Going here always makes me so emotional seeing how many animals need forever homes. Despite being very busy the staff were friendly, and you could tell the animals that are in their care are well loved by those who work there. Theos description was very accurate, this boss bun loves anything he can sink his teeth into and is a treat fanatic exactly as described. I was also impressed to see how detailed the adoption application was to make sure the animals are going to a home that is a perfect match. The day I met Theo I was able to take him home, thank you for taking good care of him before I could ?

We got Peanut(formerly known as Ellie) the Holland Lop from our humane society when Harley's sister passed from GI stasis. It took some time bonding the 2 but now they are inseparable. We have got most of our pets from the Humane Society and now that we know there are little cuddly critters there as well we will only adopt.

We adopted a new cat as our old boy has been lonely since losing his brother.

All the volunteers and workers were amazing and super helpful. We ended up finding the perfect fit with the help of some of the staff.

Luna (formerly Chloe) is doing amazing and loving her new home?

Absolutely god awful me and my fiancé tried to rescue a dog and absolutely got a run around telling us we’d get calls back and never did, got told we be able to see her and never got the chance kept getting bumped farther down the list of applicants because we are both younger. Adding to that we were treated differently cause of us being younger and were given the assumption that we couldn’t afford to take care of her needs purely on our age which couldn’t be farther from the truth. We really wanted another dog as we already have one and With the influx of dogs in shelters we were slapped in the face of why people don’t wanna go through with the process. Even still we tried to see it through to help if it’s only just to give one dog a chance at a better life, but with the way we were treated we understand why dogs are stuck in this shelter for years, based on how applicants are treated

I had a wonderful experience adopting my 3 rats from this place! Everyone was super friendly and they let me socialize with the rats before deciding to adopt them. When I went back on adoption day, they even remembered who I was and seemed excited to see me. Plus, the animals seemed healthy and well taken care of. It's been a month now and it only gets better with my 3 amigos! ?

I got my beautiful neutered male cat from Petsmart Charities, that got their adoption candidates from the Humane Society. He is now 5 and a half. Today in 2024 a friend and I went in with some towels for donation and we were completely ignored by the front desk staff who talked endlessly on the phone not even nodding at us. Finally another staff member was called from the back room to assist us
