STOP!!!! For gas, diesel, air, junk snacks, and incredible meals! I usually have a 2 tier rating system. One for big city restaurants and one for small towns. Madoc is a small town. Finn's is being rated as a big city restaurant. It sits connected to a gas station. Usually, this setup is meh! For food. FINN'S is awesome! If I could give 7 stars for the food, I would. The setting is a regular gas bar restaurant. Service is pleasant, accurate, and reliable. The young man and woman in the kitchen though...working hard, calmly, in a smaller space pumping out regular dishes with Flair!! The tastes feel like a big city expensive diner, but in Madoc. I really hope the locals patronage Finn's. Otherwise, they are missing out. I highly recommend you eat here!!

Service was great, the wait staff was very pleasant.
We had the wings, fantastic! They are very tasty and the portions are quite large. We also tried the Montreal meat sandwich and chili. The sandwich was very nice, the meat nice and tender. The chili was not the greatest. A bit too sour, maybe too much vinegar. But overall, nice place to stop by.

Cozy, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Good music, not loud, but easy to hear. Roomy and comfortable.

Steak was perfection, garlic mash was great. It's worth going a bit out of the way for dinner.

We stopped into Finn’s on our way home as we had heard they had a patio and we had our well behaved dog with us. Unfortunately they no longer have a patio but one of the ladies was very kind in taking down our take out order for food. I didn’t get her name but she had blonde hair and made sure our experience at Finn’s was still a very positive one. The food and service was great and I liked the way that our server treated everyone in the restaurant like family. Thanks Finn’s! 🙂

Came to Finn’s from Toronto because we were staying in madoc at an air bnb. Calamari was melt in your mouth delicious and I really enjoyed my bruschetta wrap. Everything was fresh and satisfying. Our server Bianka was so nice and helpful, she really added to our night. Only complaint would be that the lighting was a little industrial.

Arrived and was greeted with a dirty table, had our drink orders taken and then sat for about 25 minutes while 3 tables filled up with people. Another 20 minutes goes by and our waitress finally comes over to us stating “you guys have menus still makes me think I didn’t take your order” to which I reply “you didn’t”. She leaves, taking our menus, comes back and then takes our food order. Another 20 minutes goes by and the 3 tables that came in after us which had 3-4 people each. (We were a table of 2) had been served all of their food, items in which were the items we ordered and should have been prioritized to us as we had now been waiting for 45 minutes for food. At that point I had decided that we had waited long enough that we would just pay for our drinks and leave. We have never experienced worse service and won’t be back. Unacceptable service and a massive waste of time.

I went in with my son who is a toddler and because they had a toddler behind the bar my son wanted to go behind the bar also. Very unprofessional.
I went back in hopes that I'd be greeted by Jo, my son fell absolutely in love with her last time. Then I find out she unfortunately no longer works there.. so are we letting go of good staff and hiring the children..
