As first time dog owners, we did a lot of research before we decided to commit to getting a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. After reaching out to several CKC registered breeders, certain circumstances brought us to Shae Lynn from Brenalee Bernese. Shae was happy to meet with us and introduce us to her puppies and their mother and to observe their environment and their temperaments. Shae also gave us a lot of helpful information about her puppies and their lineage, about her philosophies raising Berners, their medical and genetic information and general how to's. I have great confidence that Shae will always be a great resource as we watch our beautiful Ivy grow into a majestic dog worthy or her breed. I'm so glad that things aligned when they did that allowed us to be gifted with such a wonderful puppy from a fantastic and responsible breeder.

If you’re looking for a Bernese to add to your family, Shae is amazing! This was my first time using a breeder, and although I was told by others what to expect from their experiences, Shae was amazing!!! Shae kept us updated daily and then weekly so we could see the puppies grow. What I liked is that from birth they are around children, and they are raised with Shae and her family. Even after we picked up our Gus, Shae would check in, offer support and guidance if needed. From start to now, I would definitely recommend Shae.

Amazing service and best dog ever! Shae was great at answering all my questions and recommending best products for the breed. Pups are loved and cuddled by Shae and family from day 1 and it shows! I was greeted by mom Aurora when I arrived on pickup day and what a greeting it was! Big Berner smiles and rubs as she helped me out and later, back into my vehicle.

We have been dog owners for years but this was our first time using a breeder because we needed to find a specific type of dog. Our son loves dog! He loves to get up in their face to smooch them and tell them how good they are in a very high pitch voice. So we researched breeds and found the Berner temperament to be the dog version of our family! Smart, hard working, loving, absolutely beautiful, goofy, food motivated, a little slow, always hot and loves to nap!

Our girl Winnie is a farm girl at heart who loves to jump in any long grass, bush or flower bed she can find! At not even 4 months old, the only time she leaves the yard is to go see if our young neighbours are outside to play. She sits and watches people walk by, observing everything before making a move. We see her thinking about the command we gave her before acting on it and don’t worry if you don’t have any treats, just tell her how good she is and give her rubs, she’s just as happy. Everyone in the community has stopped us to tell us how gorgeous Winnie is with her beautiful markings.

How often will you hear a puppy owner say that they would get a second one because it’s just so easy! Since day 1 day she has been sleeping through the night, barely any messes in the house, follows me everywhere and just loves us so much.

I don’t think I need to say more, I already said too much but you just need to know how great of a breeder this is to work with, the breed is absolutely spot on!

We had been thinking of getting a Bernese Mountain dog for several years. We made our decision on September 1/2023 to get a puppy from Brenalee Bernese - Registered Bernese Mountain Dogs. Aurora just had a litter of pups on August 28/2023.
We now had 8 weeks to wait until our male puppy (Sparty) was able to come home! Throughout this time Shae was awesome to work with, providing us with weekly updates, pictures and always available to answer any questions we had.
We were able to go for a visit to meet Sparty at 5 weeks. It was so cute to see Shae’s children playing with the puppies!
It definitely was a great experience working with Shae at Brenalee Bernese from the start to the finish!

We got our Bernese Mountain Dog, Daisy about 2 weeks ago. She is a great pup and quick learner. Shae was very helpful and knowledgeable about the breed and puppies traits.We met momma also who had great markings and a calm but happy temperament, although we didn’t meet dad we saw pictures of him. Daisy is well socialized and gets along great with our other dog and cat. We look forward to having Miss Daisy for a long and happy life.

We recently adopted our first family puppy from Aspen Creek and are so happy with our decision. Shae was great throughout the process, keeping us well informed and providing great tips for first time puppy owners.
