New owners have got this place rockin! We really enjoy the meat packages. The deli meat is great. My husband loves his subs for his work lunch. So glad they took over. Great value and great taste. Don’t plan to get meat from the grocery stores anymore. Thank you City Meats for great everything.

If I could give this place one star I would the rude, black haired lady treats everyone awfully I think you should understand when you’re downtown that there’s obviously gonna be a certain demographic approaching your business something that she does clearly not know how to handle based on multiple occasions that I’ve seen. Another huge issue looking back at it was how they were treating customers during Covid I remember man repeatedly telling them please I have a disability. I can’t wear a mask due to my breathing condition and they still told him to leave the store. I remember coming here with my father one time and having a worker rudely look at us in shock and say you have a stove and we’re looking at frozen items. I will say on the other hand the guys in the back have always been super polite and nice the rare occasions you interact with them so they get a A+ giving them the 2 stars

Best butcher in town, customer service rocks, everyone there is so nice! The sausage is phenomenal though, I always have a happy when I cook it. They don't even put onion or garlic in the sausage, it's pet safe meat so go ahead and share with the fur babies but only once in a while!

We loved shopping at Queen City Meats for decades. We ordered our Christmas turkey well in advance as usual. We were happy to pay double or triple per pound (supermarkets) because the quality has always been outstanding (well worth the price) and we like to support local businesses. New ownership just before Christmas. Six phone calls over several weeks before Christmas. First five calls which we answered promptly were confirmation of our purchase, pick-up. Call #6 on Dec.24 no turkey for you. Shortly after Christmas people and organizations posted on FB and social media about the turkeys they had enjoyed. I took the time and wrote/hand delivered a complaint letter while I was purchasing breakfast sausage and was not afforded the courtesy of a response.

Bad steak this month but I threw it up so no issue, now I’m dealing with bloating gas pains after stew ? So this month I have to throw out 100$ worth of my months food! Don’t trust this place anymore!

This is a wonderful place to purchase really nice cuts of meat as well as other grocery items. The staff is exceptionally friendly amd the service is quick. I highly recommend this place if you want real quality.

This is the best place for meat in Sault Ste. Marie! This little family owned business is the heart of downtown! Don’t over look this hidden gem. Some of my favourites are the jalapeño and cheese sausage, wings and beef tenderloin!( Although I know you won’t be disappointed with anything you get! )Super sweet family! Great customer service! Highly recommend!!

Opening the door to City Meat Market I see a well-stocked, organized, clean, eye-appealing locally owned business! Hand-crafted, in-house prepared, colorful notices displayed throughout the store only add to its attractiveness! Am I in the right place? Absolutely!

Entering City Meat Market I am personally acknowledged by a genuinely welcoming, cheerful voice! In fact, as I go about my "shopping business" I find ownership and staff to be both personally engaging, as well as helpful, skillful and knowledgeable with respect to product. Am I in the right place? Absolutely!

Touring the aisles now, and then on to the meat and fish section, I see a good variety of product with an emphasis on in-store prepared and local area items, and I know from experience (I HAVE SHOPPED AT CITY MEAT MARKET FOR AT LEAST 15 YEARS) whatever I purchase will be top-notch quality. Am I in the right place? Absolutely!

Checking out I pay a fair and reasonable price for my groceries while engaging in pleasant conversation with Rose and/or Lori! Am I in the right place? Absolutely!

And, I have absolutely been in the right place for over 15 years!
