The centre was beautiful. Well maintained and great selection of tree for August going into fall. Staff was friendly however the tone changed when we asked the cashier if they deliver to Belleville and she said no then we asked if they would do an installation then she asked how many trees and where in Belleville. She then said yes and we should call the next day as it was on the Sunday. I totally get it I wish she would have clarified from the initial and said the condition that they would make a delivery I felt that we had dig to get full answer. The enthusiasm was destroyed at cash and she was less than friendly. A refresher in CS would be great. We will call as the tree selection was great and everyone deserves a second chance.

Great greenhouse. Excellent quality plants; annuals, perrenials, trees, and shrubs.The poinsettia plant I bought before Christmas still looks incredible. Knowledgeable staff.

Lockyer’s is Picton’s go-to place for bedding plants, hanging baskets, perennials, shrubs and trees as well as seeds, containers and statuary. (Plus there is a handsome retriever who wanders about. ?)

I rarely post reviews.. but feel that I must in this case. I see that I'm not the only one that has had issues with curt and outright rude staff. (one was great - helpful attentive -- one fully opposite.) In a nutshell, we found a hanging basket that wasn't tagged sold (tbh - I think it's great that the staff is willing to husband the purchases until the client is ready to pick it up -- so seeing the "sold" signs is great) -- BUT -- when given one that was not tagged in anyway by a staff member (the great one) - bring it to the cash to pay and be bluntly and rudely told 1) "You can't have that one - 2) being accused of "helping myself" and 3) have it removed, with the "you can't have it" over and over again -- a basic -- we don't give a hoot about you .. by one of the greenhouse staff...is deeply disappointing. There was no attempt to even find us another one -- she just walked away.. and in the background asking "the owner" -- you didn't say they could have it... In a more carrying environment and inspite of the owners comments following bad reviews --"come see me " he missed the opportunity to prevent two customers from walking out empty handed and fully vowing to never return or recommend going here.

Lockyer's provided us with great service. We wanted to plant a cedar hedge, staff helped us understand which type of cedar we needed and how many trees would be required. CJ was very helpful in sourcing the 29 trees we figured we would need and she had them available for pickup very quickly. When we arrived to pick them up on Saturday morning, Greg loaded us up quickly and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain exactly what we needed to do to ensure the cedars thrive. We ended up miscalculating and needed 3 more, I called first thing Sunday morning to make sure they had them in stock, when we pulled into your lot, Greg had them ready to go for us. It took us the 2 full days but we got them all planted and we couldn't be happier.

So many beautiful plants and some new cultivars. I picked up a few succulents and cacti. Plus they have two turtle and fish ponds.
