RainscapeTO designed and created a most beautiful pollination garden for my elementary school in Scarborough. The project would absolutely not have been possible if it were not for Jose's intuitive and technical capacity and his incredibly competent and connected team. The children and community have been enjoying tremendous benefits from their work.

Rainscape did a terrific job cleaning up our backyard: getting rid of invasives, levelling the soil, seeding a lawn eco-alternative, levelling our flagstone path, and putting in some native ground cover. Michelle's team was efficient and friendly. The communication from Michelle and the RAINscape office was prompt and complete. And the price was right!

Rainscape did a wonderful job transforming my front yard into a lovely space for us and folks walking along our busy street to enjoy. The gardening crew Rahel, Janet, Robyn and Avalon were an absolute pleasure to be around - they worked incredibly hard and had a wonderful energy. José's design work pulled together a wide selection of native plants to suit the space, which have provided a succession of colour and foliage over the last two months and attracted many butterflies and bees. And on rainy days we get the treat of watching our beautiful new rain chain in action! Many people walking by have commented on how beautiful the garden is, and it's still early days - by next summer it will have filled in much more. I'm so happy to support Rainscape's social enterprise work, especially with their focus on young indigenous adults and sustainability, and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Rainscape!

RAINscapeTO team cleaned up our very messy overgrown yard, removed huge invasives, and installed beautiful front yard and backyard rain gardens with extended lasagna across the back. The plants chosen are perfect for the yard and the birds and butterflies are already checking them out. They also included a Japanese maple at our request. We were so pleased with the team: on time, courteous, efficient, always pleasant. Highly recommend RAINscapeTO!

Wow, I couldn't more highly recommend RAINscapeTO! Jose was incredibly detailed, communicative and friendly in our exchanges before beginning the project and made us feel that we were in good hands right from the get-go. I can't describe just how amazing it is to find a team of people who are genuinely on the same page and who are willing to work with you to create not only a beautiful but an environmentally-conscious design. Rahel, Avalon, Janet, and Robyn are really a dream team - our front yard was a mess of sod and sad-looking shrubs, and they completely transformed it into a vibrant pollinator haven. We are still so amazed by how quickly it all came together and how incredible it looks - even while (temporarily) covered with a thick layer of mulch! It's a joy to see all the bees, butterflies are birds that are flying about pollinating and making use of this mini oasis. We can't wait to see our garden grow and mature. Thank you SO much RAINscapeTO team - your work, knowledge and genuine respect for the natural world are very much appreciated!

It was a pleasure working with the RAINscapeTO team, they did a wonderful job planning and installing the garden. We wanted to replace our grass lawn with plants that are more sustainable, lower maintenance, and more interesting to look at. The team did an amazing job making it happen. They also followed up a few months later to add some rocks to make sure mulch was not flowing through. All in all, very happy with their work!

We were really impressed with the Rainscapes team from start to finish. They helped us transform a backyard that was essentially a bald patch of dirt into a butterfly sanctuary! We’ve been with Rainscape for two year to enhance and maintain our gardens. We plan on using the service next year and beyond. The team is always very communicative of what they are adding/taking away (for each spring & fall clean up) and I put my trust in them completely to do what works in different areas. Everyone has always been so friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. I find (because they come for regular maintenance) I rarely have to think about any of it, and it continues to look beautiful and well maintained.
