My daughter has been going to Queenswood for years and loves it so much. Staffs are always so happy to see us and so welcoming. This year we registered her for a full size horse lessons for the fall. So far she’s loving it. She has now graduated from pony rides to full size horses.

Terrible experience with a coach who belittled my 8yo daughter for not knowing how to be safe around a horse. That is why she is taking lessons? She has only had one intro lesson and a week of summer camp prior to her lesson at Queenswood Stable. This is how the coach teaches safety: 1) leaving my 8 yo alone with horse unsupervised that my husband had to interject. 2) asking my daughter if she had a death wish? Instead of showing her the proper way 3) requiring her to clean her horse hoof without prior know how. Again we interjected. 4) continuously pointing out how inexperienced my daughter was in comparison to the older girls that were there. I didn’t pay $80 for my daughter to be belittled and bullied. Respect and patience go a long way. When I spoke to Simone about our experience via email, she did apologize and mentioned the coach would have liked it if we had mentioned something while we were there so they could have apologized in person. We did! Several times and coach made nothing of it. So, suffice to say we won't be returning not unless... we have death wish.

I discovered Queenswood Stables and my hidden passion for riding just three years ago. It came highly recommended by a number of people. I was a non-rider and have learned so much in the time I've been riding there. With the expert coaching of Simone and Oz I have not only learned how to ride but have now competed in gold level dressage shows. I bought my horse from Queenswood and couldn't even think of boarding him elsewhere. He is so well cared for by the whole Queenswood family It really is heaven on earth.

I am currently a boarder at QWS and bought my horse from the Williams family. Through Simone and Oz's training I have progressed from training level to PSG in four short years. I consider QWS to be my home away from home and there is no other place I would consider boarding my horse. If you are considering taking riding lessons or buying a horse please consider Queenswood.
