Hello I can’t really rate the actual outlet but my family did purchase some of their pre packaged cheese curds from a roadside market and they were pretty good. What I was wondering do you sell freshly made cheese curds at the actual store in Bright and if so what days is it made fresh. Thanks

One of our stops on the Cheese Trail and a bit of a disappointment. The welcome was lukewarm and it is always a shame when it's not possible to try the cheese. We didn't get much input when asking for recommendations either.

Prices were good and we left with a sizzling hot cheddar that was excellent. However, it feels like better customer service would have resulted in us buying more cheese and being more likely to return.

This place is super old and small time and everything is made on site with local ingredients as far as I know. We drive for miles to get the cheese curds and usually a bunch of random stuff. The selection isn’t always huge varies but the flavor of what they have is always incredible.

We love the cheese here, it's always fresh and tasty. The variety is hit and miss though! The cheese curds are the best ever and the 3 year cheddar is great if it's in stock. My family is 8 generations from Scotland and settled in the Bright area, and remember the way things used to be at the cheese factory. The Bright family was always extremely friendly and very welcoming! I feel that the staff now could be and should be way more friendly!! We have been SEVERAL times and have felt this way but never written a review. Today I felt I should in hopes the girls could be trained better in customer service! They are not at all friendly or welcoming. When asked about specific cheese I felt like I was putting them out. I spend on average $100-200 each time I come in and sometimes more. I'm not asking for special treatment just good friendly customer service. I can spend my money somewhere else but I really like Bright cheese!
Don't be confused the Bright cheese in Woodstock is not the same!

Such nice staff! The girls working today were so friendly and kind! I got to try the old cheddar which was delicious, super simple, everything that you want out of a cheese and cracker snack so I ended up buying it. Really great stop along the cheese trail!

I have stopped in for the cheese curds twice now — absolutely fantastic! Also, you can buy random ‘cheese ends’ that have been packaged up at a serious discount, that are delicious and come in lots of fun varieties. I hope to visit again and again and again....
Nice people working there too.

Excellent varieties of cheeses. Very generous with the samples. We bought 5 different kinds of cheese here and love everyone of them. We have been here several times and each time the selection and quality have been superior. If you are in the area and like cheese do yourself a favour and stop in.
