We have now gotten two puppies from Myriam, both healthy dogs and we had a very good experience. She answered any questions we had in a prompt reply, and was will to accommodate us in the pick. We love our Stella and Henry.

I had an incredibly positive experience with this breeder! Communication was excellent throughout, and their friendliness made the process a joy. Our miniature short hair dachshund puppy, Baulder, is an absolute delight—happy, healthy, and fitting perfectly into our family. I couldn't be happier with our furry addition, and I highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a happy, healthy pup.

Our family has been considering a dog for the last year and so when COVID happened we knew it was the right time to get serious. Our 11 year old daughter easily found this website and we called right away. Lucky for us timing was perfect. We had such a good experience and were very happy with the entire process. We were notified right away when the puppies had been born and were able to choose the one we wanted. We appreciated the frequent emailed pictures of our little Milo and then we were very pleased when we were able to pick him up right on schedule. We got a great starter bag of goodies when we picked him up and felt very comfortable with the home he had spent his first 8 weeks in. He is a playful and loving little puppy. Thanks Myriam for making this such a pleasurable and caring experience!!

From the moment I sent an inquiry to Myriam to when I was holding sweet little Jasper in my arms, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was provided with regular updates and photos of Jasper and given all of the requisite information from day one. The puppy pack that we were provided was amazing...complete with toys, food, a cuddly blanket that has become his fave, and even some pee pads! It was readily apparent how much love and care is provided to all of the dogs and puppies. Jasper has an incredible temperament....super friendly and sociable with other dogs and humans (including kids). I would highly recommend For the Love of Dachshunds to anyone considering getting a dachshund. Thanks Myriam, we are beyond grateful for our wonderful, lovable little Jasper.

Just picked up my Abby last weekend. What a beautiful, well adjusted social pup.I had a great experience with this breeder as she was very responsive and kept me up to date with pics and videos until I picked my puppy up. And always responded with any question I had to the point I thought I may be annoying but it was never a problem. When picking up Abby, I was so impressed with the happy dogs that greeted me. I was walking into a warm loving home and sat on the floor and played with all the dogs. She never made me feel like I should rush to leave. And an awesome puppy pack. Thank you for raising such wonderful dogs. And one last thing, everyone loves her colours; I know she is a beauty!

When I first started looking for puppies through breeders online they weren’t very responsive then luckily I found For The Love of Dachshunds. I got a message immediately and was kept up to date on a regular basis about how my pup was doing. Myriam is so amazing with her animals and you can genuinely see the love she has for them when you meet her. This experience was incredible. She spoiled us with a nice bag of goodies for our pup, she gave us so much information and was so easy to deal with. She felt like a friend the second we saw her. Our new dachshund pup is so well tempered and is so easy to train, not to mention absolutely gorgeous! We get stopped every day to get asked about her and where we got her. We are for sure buying another one from you guys as soon as possible 🙂

I don't share the 5 star review with this breeder. To make a long story short, I found a puppy I liked and put a deposit down. Nothing was said about it being non refundable. I then had a death in my family so i was not able to have my puppy until a couple weeks later past the date the puppy was ready to go. She decided she should charge me boarding fees of $20 a day to keep the puppy until i could pick it up! Never have I had a breeder do this. I found a different breeder that had a puppy available more in my time lines so I could recover from my father in law's passing and would not charge me $20 a day and would hang on to the puppy as long as i needed with no boarding fees. So I let this breeder know I would not be taking her puppy and asked for my deposit back. She refused. Nothing was explained to me that the deposit was non refundable. She already had many deposits from other people for her next litter so finding a new family for the puppy I chose was already accomplished. There was no need to keep my deposit. The priority here is money. Look up the difference between deposit and non refundable deposit. They are totally different. Try to get this through to this breeder was impossible. In the end, keeping my deposit was more important to her then keeping her perfect review score on Google. I highly do not recommend this breeder. It is a cash cow operation.

My mom was in need of some companionship and I happened to come across for the love of dachshunds. My mom instantly fell in love with a little smooth haired man. The owners were extremely quick with their response and worked with us to be able to get the little man into his furever home. You can tell the owners truly love these dogs and put a lot of love and care into the pups. He's extremely well socialised, healthy and happy! Thank you for the love of dachshunds for allowing us to love this little man forever!
