I love Forbes Farm! They are not only conscientious organic farmers but wonderful and kind people too. Their produce is top notch. Every time I have the privilege of attaining their fine fresh goods, I am never disappointed. My favourite is their fabulous peaches. I've never had such delicious and sweet peaches from anywhere else but here. Friendly, generous, savvy and community minded, they always make my market experience a happy one.

There is only one thing that surpasses the amazing quality of food Forbes Farm produces - their integrity and character! This family is the most caring, honest and generous group of humans. They do what they can to make the world a better place.... after coming back from Asia recently, and seeing the amount of plastic being wasted, I was SO grateful to hear that Forbes are doing what they can to reduce their plastic impact!
Each visit we make to Forbes we feel so refilled with positive energy and hope for a better future. Thank you Forbes, for all you do!

Went to the Kelowna Farmers Market today. We noticed infused water on their table and thought we'd buy some on our way out. We arrived 30 seconds past the cowbell signaling the end of the market. The woman at the table told us no. We though maybe she was going to continue by saying no, it was now warm and wouldn't taste good, or no, no need to pay, just help yourself, but instead she was refusing to sell to us. She said NO! They were closed and they had been up since 3:30am. Which would have been fine but she was so rude about it. It came off as unprofessional and unnecessary. I'm from out of town and I was very shocked at her attitude and her need to be so unkind about our request. She made us feel bad just for coming up to her table.

I went to the market a few weeks after it opened looking for a cucumber plant. I had brought with me two cloth bags as we are all trying to do our part in reducing plastic. My two cloth bags were full and I was about to leave when I spotted the cucumber plant and purchased it for 8.00. I asked for a bag as my two cloth bags were full. Then the man that was serving me said that will be .25c. .25c for a plastic bag ridicilous, He then proceeded to give me a lecture that we are all trying to ruduce plastic so thats why the bags are so expensive. I said I brought two cloth bags and they were full and I was participating in reducing plastic . He didn't care he wanted his greedy .25c for that bag. I should have asked for a refund and walked away but I was eager for the cukes. Last Wednesday I went up to the stall and asked the girl if there were any seedless cucumbers as I am not allowed seeds, she said NO we grow them as nature intended..Your staff certainly is snarky, and that man that served me in the spring just on a power trip, and they certainly don't have any idea of customer service . I will never shop there again.

omg!!! Melons and peaches to die for. Everything there so good, and what I appreciate most is their deep-seated conviction to be doing this right - and the best they can for the land and their customers. Surpasses "organic." Local, local, local - hand picked by folks we know. That is how it should be!

The Forbes boys grow some of the tastiest best produce around. Highly recommend grabbing their stuff at the penticton or Kelowna farmers market
