Don’t buy work boots here! Found out that the $250 boots I bought there last week and only wore twice cannot be returned. Zero return policy, not on their website or on their receipts, unlike most other retailers. I’m writing this to save folks from an expensive lesson, at a time most people can’t afford to learn it. Never shopping there again. Pretty sad to say after decades of being a loyal customer.

Great selection of products and plants. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Left a small item on the counter after my purchase of two barrel planters.The next day found they had put it aside in case I returned for it. Lots of parking and well organized.

I usually get great service and advice that’s the reason for the five star review however the BTK I was sold was made August 15 22 and all my apple trees have been completely denuded next year I will check the date

I have been coming to Buckerfields for years now, and always a highlight of my visit is one staff in particular - Nika. She answers all my questions and offers gold standard advice when it comes to my horse and feed regime and supplements. She is knowledgeable and helpful, and over the years, has helped me greatly with my older mare. Don’t know what I would do without that and her presence at the store <3 5 stars for you Nika!!

Note: Buckerfield’s Saanich is not Borden Mercantile. I thought that I would save a trip to Langford. But Buckerfield’s is in Langford. However, I’ve been to Borden Mercantile before and they are well stocked with many items.
