Très bonne expérience. La cuisine est bonne sans être extraordinaire, et les prix très corrects. Le service est accueillant. On est au Canada et ils pourraient faire l'effort de parler français.

Food was really good. Pita was provided at the table with the food. I got the 3 course meal. I got the spanakopita which was 3 small triangles. I got the shrimp souvlaki with potatoes, carrots, rice, and broccoli. The carrots were just boiled, no seasoning, but everything else was great. The rice was delicious, I need the recipe. For desert I got the flogeres (I think?). They tasted like churros with cream inside, really good again. The service gets a 4 because the desert took a long time (~30 mins) to come out after the main courses were ate and plates were taken. There was also a new waiter being trained and the main server was being somewhat aggressive with him.

Still one of the best Greek restaurants in South Surrey / White Rock. I had the three course $35 (May 2025) dinner special; in my case, kalamari appetizer, roast lamb, and egg mek for dessert. Will be under new management as of June 1 2025; hopefully nothing will change then.

Always a great experience at Cosmos! Our favourite restaurant on the White Rock strip! The staff is very welcoming and pleasant and feel like a second family! The food has so much flavour to it and the portions are perfect! Sitting on the patio on a nice evening can’t be beat, or even inside by the fire in the winter. Never a bad experience, will continue to go back time and time again!

Let's review what I loved :
Superb pita,warm, fluffy and flavourful.Perfectly cooked pilaf seasoned well. The potatoes were the best I've enjoyed to date. Bright lemony notes that melt in ur mouth with starchy fluffiness. Literally. Mmm,mmm.
House de-caff was excellent, strong & fresh.
The chicken was properly seasoned, tender and moist.
Chicken was a bounty of classic Mediterranean flavours.
The Lamb, however,
was nearly unidentifiable lacking aroma of that savoury lamb gamey-ness lamb offers. Almost had a mild near beef flavour rather than Lamb. My lamb totally lacked authentic Mediterranean notes whatsoever.
The lamb mouth feel was tender but void of proper seasoning imo ?

The bland Becamel on my garnish was scant and absent of flavour. Garnish also needed 90 seconds more cooking to be digestible imo.
Greek salad needed a splash of acid to wake up the taste buds. Some fragrant oregano, some olive oil and balanced ratios of cuke, onion and green pepper would be an improvement cos our salads were riddled with less than fresh cukecumbers, and hardly any green peppers.
Service was friendly, didn't touch our drinking glass rims once ( the sign of a true seasoned pro ) and maintained a warm genuine banter. She missed the boat by checking back 15 mins after serving our entrees. This is futile and made us feel neglected. Js.

It was our Sunday dinner. Not so crowded. It seems people came to celebrate. During our dinner, there were three birthday singing...lol. I ordered seafood kebabs and my friend ordered lamb kebabs. They came with a bowl of salad, some veggies on the side, and a good amount of rice. Good quality materials, good cooking, good taste and good service. Price is very reasonable. Very satisfied. Will go back again soon!

The food is decent and I love the decor. The service, however, we found to be unfriendly, rushed and generally made the dining experience unpleasant. This waitress was impatient when asked about the dishes we were interested in which should have given us the head's up that the service was not going to improve. She was anxious to clear our plates off the table, wipe the table and have us move on, which we did. We won't be back as there are so many more Greek restaurants to choose from. Perhaps hiring a more youthful staff would make a difference.
