I had such a great experience at Food Depot International! I called ahead to ask about a specific kind of mustard that I love (one I usually only find in Central Europe), and Rick - who answered the phone - was very kind and helpful. He took the time to read me the ingredients, and even put a jar aside so I wouldn’t have to deal with rush hour traffic. When I came by the next day (an hour-long trip for me, but soooo worth it!), I felt like I had stepped into a little corner of Central Europe. The prices were very fair, the selection was fantastic, and I ended up picking out a few extra treats to share with my Canadian friends! The woman at the cashier (Anna?) was lovely as well. All in all, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back!

Great place to find a whole bunch of European treats! They have a large selection of sweets, teas, condiments and pretty much everything you'd expect to find at a grocery store. It's a little out of it the way of you live East of the city, but still achievable. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I asked if they stock a certain chocolate, they said they could order it in for me.

There are SO many cheeses and deli meats here (and other great stuff)
Not a place that you can taste them at but the prices are so reasonable so just buy a new one to try every visit 🙂

Poor experience of this store. I knew this store for many years, but this time I was very disappointed. The cashier tried to cheat me, I had only 3 items of products, and when she told me the total sum it was almost 50% more than it should be. The sold items have no bar code and on the receipt there is only the total. I can imagine that when customers buy more items, it’s a very good opportunity to cheat them. My advice be very attentive to what they charge you. The cashier gave me back my money, but I will never go there again and don’t advise to go there.

The owner is amazing to deal with. We were waiting for a week and then i got in touch with the owner directly and he expedited the order within a day.
There is another company that manages their online orders. So if you have any issues, just call the store directly to confirm. They will make sure that they take care of you.
They are looking to improve their online ordering system!

If this store ever goes away I'm going back to Germany!

Today I made Grünkohl for lunch and also had Teewurst for breakfast. All this wouldn't be possible without the fine people at Food Depot International.
