I went to Jabulani Vineyard with a lovely group of ladies for a wine tasting and tour — I was there as a photographer. It’s a beautiful place, not far from Ottawa. The wine was really good (I brought a bottle home), and the snacks looked fresh and tasty.

The tour was interesting, and we had a great time overall. But some of us, including me, didn’t get the food we ordered. Luckily, the girls shared a slice of pizza with me — it was delicious! I just wish the food service was a bit quicker and more organized.

Still, it’s a nice spot to visit, especially if you enjoy wine and a relaxing atmosphere.

A lovely estate to visit with the family on a weekend morning. Parents can enjoy some quality time together while the kids explore the surroundings—ponds, orchards, a river, and more. We brought home some wine, but the visit was certainly about more than just that.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Jabulani, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a dream — beautiful natural light and plenty of stunning spots for portraits throughout the day.
What truly stood out to me, though, was the incredible staff. They were so kind and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food service was especially impressive — not only was the meal served on time and beautifully presented, but the servers were warm, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about the guest experience.
If you're a bride-to-be looking for a venue that not only photographs beautifully but also offers amazing service, Jabulani should be at the top of your list. And if you're still searching for your photographer — I’d love to capture your day here. I already know all the best spots 😉

Jabulani is truly a hidden gem! I have lived in Ottawa for 10 years and we found it randomly after a game of golf last summer. As soon as we walked in we knew it was the place we wanted to get married! The crush pad/gazebo was the perfect place to say our vows and the indoor hall had the most romantic vibes for our reception! Tom & Janet were so lovely to work with at the start of our planning process and help us select our wedding wines before they sold! We were nervous about the change in ownership half way through the year of planning, but having Megan (the wedding coordinator) by our side the rest of the lead up and on the day of was SUPER helpful. The new owners made some lovely changes - adding lights and nicer chairs which was a total bonus for us. Our wedding day could not have been more magical! If you are thinking of getting married here - DO IT!

Great experience night. Band was fun, food was generous, wine was tasty and the weather was great. Couldn't ask for anything more...then the owner gave us a bit of a treat for our puppers. Felt very welcomed. Thanks for the nice evening!

Excellent covid safe afternoon outing. Make sure to book your wine tasting via their website. We tried six wines and had the $10 cheese plate very suitable serving size for 2 people. If you are a larger group I’d suggest getting more than one cheese plate. We had a nice walk on the property. Will definitely return when we have guests.
