Je suis très satisfaite de la qualité des oeufs reçus. Sur 13 oeufs d'Appenzelloises, seulement un n'était pas fécondé. Les 12 autres ont éclos. Sur les 14 oeufs d'Orpingtons lavandes, 3 n'était pas fécondés et un seul ne s'est pas développé jusqu'à terme. J'ai 10 poussins Orpington. J'ai 22 beaux poussins d'une très grande beauté, en santé et sans défauts. Je suis heureuse d'avoir découvert ce site. J'ai hâte au printemps pour faire une autre commande.

I am very satisfied with my first order. Of the 13 eggs of Appenzellar, only one was not fertilized. The other are all alive. Of the 14 lavender orgington, 3 were not fertilized and 1 died before hatching. I have 10 orpington chicks. So I have 22 wonderful little chicks of great beauty! I am very happy to have discovered your site. We will surely have the opportunity to do business together in the spring.

J ai été chercher les oeufs ,danielle ma bien conseiller,ma toujours répondu rapidement par email et en personne est super .les oeufs étaient propre,donc lieu de ponte propre , beaucoup de choix bon travail . Yann de gatineau .(happy happy)

So far and incredible experience! Danielle has been fantastic the whole time I have been in contact with her. She was fast to respond, answered all of my questions and went over and above. The eggs came all in egg-cellent condition. They were each individually wrapped point down, placed into an egg carton, sealed and then wrapped in a ton of bubble wrap and put into a box that fit them literally perfectly. After candling them, all of the air sacs look amazing. Time to let them sit before I get them into the incubator 😁. Will update or leave another review on day 21. Thanks so much danielle! UPDATE:
4 eggs didn't end up developing but all of the others did! Three didn't hatch (to no fault of danielle and her care!). The four babies that did hatch are very very healthy, happy and adorable. Very satisfied with Danielle's care shipping the eggs and the babies that hatched! I will definitely be ordering more eggs from DC heritage! Well worth it.

Can't say enough good things about DC Poultry. I'm a repeat customers now. I've ordered hatching eggs a couple times. The birds always grow up to be such amazing quality, and even their offspring has been quality and healthy (very nice genetics). They respond to emails promptly as well, and are quick to ship out the eggs 🥚

Will definitely be getting more eggs in the future 😊

Order with grave caution I ordered 76 chicks ordering in mostly exotics for my breeding program. When the chicks arrived they seemed ok other then being thin they were placed in a brand new never been used before brooder and 13 hours later more then half were very sick with a severe respiratory infection when I reached out they recommended meditations and she informed me her chicks had coccidia so it could be that or the stress of flight I took a chick to my veterinarian who gave me meds for the whole batch of chicks along with a test we ended up losing 6 in the first 48hrs I was issued a refund for $188 for the 6 lost, however for the next month and a half they continued to still pass away one by one we tried multiple different medications my vet recommended along with the ones Danielle recommended as we stayed in contact about there health and my issues we tried many meds and nothing cured this respiratory infection when the birds were tested they tested positive for Mareks the excuse is well it’s the vaccine, I have all vaccinated birds and I have never ever had this high of a mortality rate even if you combine my whole 4 years of chickens together I have reached out numerous times for compensation and there’s always excuses and a delayed response let my $2000+ mistake be your free lesson do not order birds from here the death rate total reached 43 dead the rest we culled because we couldn’t get a true vaccine record and majority as the red one pictured continued on with these symptoms the one they gave me was from google dox not a legitimate record.
The different sicknesses and illnesses my chicks had were some would lose there ability to use there legs and they would curl up 8 did this in less then 24 hours I was only able to successfully rehabilitate 2 of them after giving a syringe feed of probiotics mineral ect mostly all had a severe respiratory infection with a cough that was similar to a horse with choke extremely thin, puss in the eyes severe facial swelling, some just simply would not grow they stayed chick size and were still mostly chick down even at 8 weeks of age I will attach pictures I have videos unfortunately they won’t post! Please be aware buy elsewhere her rare breeds arnt worth the heartache or headache!

Hatching eggs were packaged incredibly well! No losses during shipping. All eggs hatched out perfectly but three (non-developers in early incubation - fertile). All chicks look to be extremely high quality. Especially the chocolate and splash silkies. Beautiful vaulted skulls and feet. So excited to grow these chicks out.

Not impressed...A friend and I ordered several different eggs and 3 breeds she did not have have in-stock , so asked to give 3 more of two of our other choices..she could not supply extra of those either ...payed for packaging which was for eggs wrapped in toilet paper and box filled with straw $10 🤨. After candling the eggs 1/2 the eggs no good ...6 had blood rings and 13 not fertile ......claims it was due to shipping... Quebec to Ontario .....very disappointed since I had some shipped from BC and I had a 100% hatch rate ....I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ...very disappointed

This is probably the fifth or sixth time I have dealt with DC Heritage Poultry over the past 6 years and I have always had very good experiences. I’ve always received great results with both hatching eggs and with day olds.
