We brought our Bodhi Bear home from Sun Dynasty 3 weeks ago now and we couldn’t be more in love with our fur baby. He’s our third chow and his temperament is so sweet and social, he loves playing with other dogs and loves all the attention he gets from all the kids (including our own who don’t stop hugging him). Amber was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Took all the time we needed to answer our questions and let us meet and play with all of their beautiful Chows. Meeting Bodhis parents and seeing how sweet they were sealed the deal for us. We couldn’t be happier with our real life teddy bear ❤️

We stumbled across Amber and Sun Dynasty on our search for a perfect furbaby. It's been over 20 years since we've had a dog. We understand from all the research that chow chow in particular can be stubborn and aggressive, therefore one of the most important elements for a successful relationship is the breeder. We reached out to a few breeders in both Ontario and Quebec. When I started communicating with Amber, her love for her dogs just shines through. The love, care and knowledge are incredible. A well socialized dog is very important for us since we have a young child and a 17 year old cat at home.
Baby Gatsby is a dream come true. He is sweet, calm and interestingly well behaved with our cat. He brings so many smiles everywhere he goes. Thanks Amber and family for bringing light to the ordinary lives.

P.S. the Sun Dynasty farm has a lot more to offer. We also bought a few free range chickens. We tried it for the first time this weekend - spectacular taste.

About a year ago, I began a journey to find a top of the line Chow Chow breeder. I could write a book on all the platforms, breeders, and experiences I had, but I'll save you the details. My journey started with and ended with CKC recommended, Sun Dynasty Chow Chows. I spoke with the owner numerous times Amber Schwabe Dekker, and after texting, speaking on the phone, and meeting in person, I can say that she and her family are hands down the best. They are knowledgeable, loving, and inviting, they will help you from beginning, to end, however there is a catch, thier isn’t really an end, they love to help thier clients, hear from thier client and see updates:) currently Amber Schwabe Dekker is assisting me on my journey to find an appropriate hair dryer for our little one. Sun Dynasty Chow Chows commitment to researching the best bloodlines is beyond impressive, and the pack of chows they own is incredibly beautiful and sweet…. we feel blessed that we can obtain a pup from her pack… I dedicate this album to Amber and her family for being an amazing guide on this journey and for breeding such beautiful Chow chows. My husband and I purchased our furbaby January 2022 and we couldn't be happier.
We spent a couple months looking into various chow breeders and found Sun Dynasty Farm. Their breeding ethics we found to be impeccable, the animals are so well cared for, and you can tell by being there, how much love is given by the family to the animals. One of the winning points for us was how well socialized our boy was, and a part of that is their encouragement to set up cuddle dates with our boy untill we were able to take him home. There is so much more to it, so We recommend not waiting long to contact Sun Dynasty Farm, best decision we have made.

Wonderful breeder. Dogs are friendly, well tempered and beautiful proportions. Got our puppy the summer of 2024 and I could not be happier. I've already recommended Sun Dynasty Chow Chows to a friend of mine who wants a chow chow in the future. People love our puppy. She looks like a little bear.

Amber was so accommodating to our situation, and very understanding. She answered all and any questions I had about chows, puppyhood, and any day to day I still have while raising this wonderful little puppy.

I could not recommend this breeder more. Really something special. If I want another chow, I will come here.

I went to the Carp Farmers Market a couple of weeks ago and passed by the Sun Dynasty Farm stand. The pickled quail eggs caught my attention. I've never had quail eggs before and I love picked eggs so I thought it would be cool to try. I circled back to their stand and I bought one jar.... they told me I wouldn't regret it. But I do regret it... I regret not buying 10 jars! These are SO unbelievably good! First of all, they are the perfect bite. Sometimes you don't want to commit to a full sized pickled egg and these little bite sized eggs are fantastic. Second, they aren't super vinegary and actually quite sweet. It's a nice bite! And if the idea of a "sweet pickled egg" doesn't sound appealing to you... believe me, you need to try these!!! I'm officially addicted and will definitely for sure be buying again... in bulk! Amazing!
