Sparrow hope farms is an absolutely must for kids. The authenticity and charm is so much more than you would get at a large scale zoo. The owners - Richard and Tiffany - are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I recommend the hayride which takes you into the wild. We were lucky enough to see some wild turkeys. I highly recommend reaching out to Sparrow hope farms for a visit.

We had an amazing visit to the farm with Richard and Tiffany, owners and hosts of a tour of their farm. Richard provided a great overview of the farm, the animals and what to expect for our two hour visit (this was after the farming summer school class they host during the day had concluded). The farm had a great layout to visit up-and-close with the animals - sheep, chickens and ducks. Richard and Tiffany ensured our family’s safety the whole tour, including during the tractor/wagon ride. Lovely people with great knowledge and a lovely farm worth planning a visit to! Call ahead to ensure no conflicts either existing programs.

I just visited Sparrow Hope Farm and had a lovely tour around the grounds with the owners. They have two big pigs, many sheep, beautiful chickens and ducks, and even bees. They truly care about the land they farm and the animals they raise.
