Best kept secret in Ontario, I don't even want to tell you but they already have 193 Google Reviews at 4.9 Stars so you already know.

I have to review the item in my images first: We’ve called it the Flintstones. Not sure what Brent calls it. We walk in and see this beautiful monster at the very front: a Baron roast with 6 MASSIVE marrow bones placed around it - all held together with two twine strings. Obviously amazing, we followed recommendations and popped this in the slow cooker on low for 10 hours, all we added was garlic, salt, and pepper. The beef was so soft, and the marrow seemed to work its way into the beef, melting the little gristle we had into oblivion. The marrow was the best ever. I don’t know what overcame you to make this, but I hope you made one for yourself.

We've been on the carnivore diet for almost a year, and Brent's shop is the only beef we buy - not even exaggerating. We drive from the Stouffville area once/twice a week to stock up, so Brent and his family are getting to know us pretty well. He’s an eclectic character, like us, so keep your eyes out for his awesome experiments.

The care and service is top-notch, that's why they are always busy. You literally can't beat their prices, they sell way cheaper than a lot of other butchers in the area, for far superior beef. If you spend your money elsewhere, you’re missing out.

Quality, flavour, variety, customer service and pricing - all the things you come here for makes this a great butcher shop. You can get fresh meats/cuts to frozen meat pies (bison, tourtierre, etc..) here. You get what you pay for here - the premium goods. They also offer freezer packs starting from $250. Who knew one can fill a small shop with so many items.

One of the best butchers around. And part of the Team Canada Butcher team. The meat, meat pies, great freezer packs as well The customer service are incredible. He helps the community as much as he can.
If you want something cut a different way. Him and his team will do it for you.

I moved to Oshawa from Alberta some years ago, and the last couple years Ive been having an extremely hard time eating ground beef. I find it chewy, hard bits, and not tasting good. So I have stopped eating it. My very good friend took me to Herrington's this past Satutday. I spoke to Jason, and told him my issue. What I learned from that man, I will NEVER buy meat in grocery stores ever again. I told Jason that Ive been dying for a fantastic taco for years!! I bought 5lbs of REGULAR ground beef, and also 6 prime rib burgers with horseradish, 4 burgers blue cheese burgers with bacon to try.. the burgers were more than fantastic!! We just finished eating the absolute BEST tacos we have had in a VERY very long time!! Thank you to Jason who understood and helped me to eat Ontario ground beef again!! Herrington's, Jason and ALL of the staff, you have not only showed me what big corporations do and put into the food that we eat, and I am a forever customer of your establishment!! Bravo... Bravo I cannot say enough good things!! If youve never been to this place, I swear you will not be disappointed!!

Wow an amazing old town butcher shop feel. Their selection and presentation is perfect. next time I'm in town I am bringing a cooler . I couldn't buy much because I wouldn't be home for hours and it was during that heatwave. Their selection of homemade meat pies is impressive . I have to buy them next time.

The owner is absolutely amazing. You can ask any questions, and he is very personable, honest, and informative.
You can call a order and pick it up. Very flexible and his product is of the best quality. I don't live in Port Perry, but I will drive there for his meat.
