I've shopped at various Halenda's Meats locations for decades and they've never disappointed me. The staff are very well-trained and helpful. Parking is easy, the store cleanliness and food selection are excellent also. This is a great place with reasonable prices to get a prepared meal, groceries or even to order fresh turkey for the holidays.

Good food at slightly inflated prices. Used to have health concerns, such as reusing spices that had touched raw meat. With he excuse its OK if just used on the dame raw meat next. Anyone with food handling knows this is insane. I confirmed it with health and safety. They gave a recovering alcoholic and a Muslim wine carriers as a Xmas bonus. This being said that was when I worked there, it's new management. And I know Chris personally. I'm sure he cleaned up ship. But just in case not and because the price. 3 stars.

There aren’t many butcher shops around and Halenda’s helps provide a quality place to go for fresh meat. Went here based on a friend’s recommendation and got hot dogs and buns, schnitzel, boneless skinless chicken breasts and tater tots. We’ll be back to get other meat next time. Looking forward to it!

Been driving by this place for years decided to stop in and grab something to eat I had a beef sandwich it was delicious would definitely recommend this place going back next week to check out the hot table…service was good too

We have moved out of the area…. But we still come back for their friendly service and welcoming staff, weekly specials and excellent products. We just recently tried their HALENDA’s Peameal and it was so tasty, tender and NOT SALTY!! Melted in your mouth, could cut it with a plastic spoon. We bought a chunk and sliced it ourselves in about 1/3” widths! We have not eaten peameal in a long time as anywhere we have purchased it, it has been too salty or too thinly cut, tough and tasteless. We took a huge chance on trying theirs and it was worth it. I was so impressed I took some to my friend to try. Worth the drive to Oshawa HALENDA’s!!!❤️

The staff was very helpful. It is a great place if you are looking to buy fresh meats. I really like their buggy whips, their kielbasa is delicious too.
