We celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Steckle Farm last week and absolutely loved it! All of our guests left happy and overjoyed. Hannah was so sweet and helpful, she was amazing with the kids, guided them through the farm, and made the whole experience truly memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

We had a great time at Steckle Heritage Farm for my child’s 4th birthday! Hannah was fantastic and shared lots of interesting information about the farm animals; and ensured everyone was safe and had an opportunity to interact (to their comfort) with the animals. The visit was the perfect length of time to meet and interact with all the animals, go on a hayride, and make a really cute craft. Afterward, we enjoyed some refreshments and the kids had a blast in the adorable play area inside the beautiful barn. Highly recommend it!

We had my boys' 5th birthday party at Steckle and it was SO much fun. All the kids loved the animals, the wagon ride and the little play corner in the barn. The event coordinator, Hannah, was so wonderful with all the little kids, very helpful and friendly throughout and ensured everything ran smoothly. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Steckle this past May and cannot imagine having it anywhere else. It's impossible to sum up everything this shockingly beautiful and unique venue has to offer: scenery and backdrops for photos, space for lawn games, proximity to hotels and Airbnbs, indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour, a huge collection of decor, tables, seating, and a bar on site, and so much more. The bathrooms are really nice, something we had difficulty finding at other barn venues.

The authenticity of this 200-year-old barn and property is enchanting. It has a palpable sense of history that brought magic to the day. The historic and authentic farm has countless backdrops and scenery for photos: outbuildings with old stone walls, grass fields, an orchard and gardens, sunflower fields, and the gorgeous aged wood walls and beams of the barn. We got very lucky with the weather, and our photographer was able to get amazing sunset photos of me and my husband.

It is close to hotels and Airbnbs in Kitchener, Cambridge, and Waterloo, and the guests who flew in really appreciated that. Because of its size and thick tree line, you would never guess you were in town.

There is so much space for activities; we brought badminton, cornhole, ladder ball, and even set up a crochet course for our guests.

They have a huge collection of decor that will save you from so many rentals: long harvest tables, seating, wine barrels, a bar, and so much more. It is definitely worth looking through the decor booklet they have.

The staff and team at Steckle are incredible. They are so fun to work with, and it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with them during the planning process.Thadeus and Katherine went above and beyond to make everything fit into our vision for the day. They were extremely responsive to our ideas and inquiries. They ensured we could spend the time we needed at the venue in the months leading up to the event to gather measurements and photos and envision the setup for the big day.

We had an awesome birthday party at the farm! Their event coordinator, Hannah, was super helpful and great with kids. Our group of toddlers loved the animals, tractor ride and crafts.

The planning went smoothly and they had great communication throughout. The barn was beautiful and the perfect size for kids to run around- they also had a little play area which I didn't expect but was such a hit!

Just had a birthday party at Steckle Farm for my daughter (this was the 2nd time hosting it there) and it was truly an amazing experience. The host Hannah was so professional and lovely from the very first interaction with her. The kids and adults enjoyed every minute of the animal tours, crafting activities and a wagon ride at the end. We can't recommend this place enough, and will definitely be back again!
