Oma "Fresh" food? More like produce is kept frozen somewhere and then it's pretty much done for after you buy it. My wife noticed the strawberries had a little icy texture and were very soft afterwards. This was literally the day after buying them. The watermelon was $1.99 but was absolutely disgusting and soft and rotted on the inside. The grapes were $1.49/lb. And within two days had mold. Grapes do not go bad that quickly. I immediately threw everything away in the garbage. If you want to do your shopping at a middle eastern store, avoid this place, there's others out there far better than this. Yes the produce is cheap but like the saying goes: it's too good to be true. Also, many of their other goods are severely overpriced.

I went Oma fresh foods for the first time and I really liked the shop. I got all the stuff what I wanted for the grocery. I was looking for some things for which I was looking for past two weeks and got those here. Also they have fresh vegetables and fruits. I will definitely recommend this grocery food store and will do most of my groceries from here. Kids friendly and you will get parking.

I love the freshness of the meat and the pleasant service of the folks in the butcher section.
I don't like that a lot of items in the shelf do not have a price tag and need to be checked at the counter. But apart from that, it's a great store.

Best Halal Grocery store with Halal Hand Slaughtered Meat Shop in Kitchener is blessing. You find fresh Vegetables and fruits and lots of other types of Grocery and very good collection of Turkish style items and food.!

Oma Fresh Foods has the best meat & fish counter in the city. The wait times are never long, and staff are quite pleasant. Product quality and selection is second to none....in my opinion. In the store, they have attractive tinned cookies and chocolates from all around the world, which is a "treat" and the checkout always moves quickly. If there is a sudden lineup, extra staff are moved to the front to help. This is one of the best specialty grocery stores in KW.
