I purchased a dozen button quail eggs from Breezy Bird Farms and had 8 successful button quails hatch out of the 12, which was way more than I expected from shipped eggs! All chicks were in great health.

This was my first experience ordering eggs in the mail yet it was my most successful hatch rate. I tend to have only a 50% hatch rate.

What I did:
-I let the eggs sit pointy side down for 24 hours after getting them.
-Then, I placed them in the incubator without the egg turner for the first 48 hours.
-After 48 hours of incubation, I put the egg turner back, which rotated them every 3 hours.
-I kept the humidity higher than normal in my incubator (about 60%) the first 14 days as I read it helps saddled or detached air sacs to re-attach (could be false but it seems to have worked).
-At day 14 I upped the humidity to around 65-70% and they all hatched by 18. Some hatched on day 17.

I've ordered several times from Breezy Bird farms. They're simply the best quality quail eggs you can get. It's a gamble with shipped eggs, but the eggs are always packaged beautifully.

I recommend the egg armour and the fastest shipping available - just in case the postal workers are having a bad day.

The chicks hatch well, and you can tell that the parents are kept in good condition. The chicks have hatched healthy and robust. The farm can't guarantee any hatch rate, but I have to say I had a fairly successful hatch rate even with shipped eggs and a short power outage on a first time incubator. Fertility rates are higher than I would expect for quail eggs.

The quality is just excellent. I choose Breezy Birds quail eggs over local - that should speak for itself.

Ordered 16 eggs and have 13 chickens now. They are 4 weeks old and looking great. So far very happy we decided to order from breezy. Had delivered to quebec and used their very good packaging to ensure safe delivery.

Beautiful birds, my first order was mainly the mixed pen and wow I was surprised to see how many beautiful colours we ended up with. Good hatch rate, 54% (Manitoba - Manitoulin Island, ON).

I ordered again, and there was a shipping issue Candice was great looked into everything and got details as to where it was. My order arrived today, the packaging is amazing so even if it ended up a couple extra days in transit the hatching eggs were in great shape.

I’m excited to see these guys grow out and for the next group to hatch. ? 100% recommended.

A fantastic website to visit and purchase a good selection of quail.. the order process is very easy, the care and attention to packaging is more than a five star ⭐, so far have had two orders from Candace, the speed of delivery is great,all of the eggs arrived very well wrapped and unbroken...both batches are now in there incubators.. five days to go before the rare lavenders start to hatch..
I strongly recommend Breezy Bird Farm... and will certainly be purchasing more quail...hats off to Candace for owning and running such a excellent company,by herself as well ?!!!

We had a great experience with Breezy Bird Farms and I plan on ordering again next year. We ordered 16 eggs and paid extra for the foam egg armour and heat/insulation as it was shipped during the winter months.

Although it costs double we also chose 2 day shipping as eggs shipped over a period of many days would reduce viability.

We ended up having 11 hatch out of 16 (although one didn't make it after a couple of days with a bad hip/leg) so I am very happy with the hatch rate. We chose to incubate using the dry hatch method, no other previous experience to compare but it worked great for us.

Love her breed choices and will be a return customer 😀

Shout out to Breezy Bird, this was a very fun experience! I ordered a dozen button quail eggs that arrived very quickly. They were beautifully packaged and all but 1 were fertile on day 5. I just hatched 7 beautiful babies and waiting on any stragglers in the incubator. I definitely recommend Breezy Bird and will be getting more eggs again soon! ?
