We had Mike and his team from Sound Outdoors come and lead a Mushroom Log Workshop for the Collingwood Garden Club in the Fall of 2023. The Sound Outdoors folks brought everything to run the workshop with them and arrived well in advance of the start time. Everything was set up and ready to roll before our participants started to arrive. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, the information given and the production of their mushroom logs....Now our guests are happily awaiting the results! We were very pleased with the whole afternoon and have no hesitation in recommending the team from Sound Outdoors to help you with your event or run a workshop for you.

Mike has built for us 2 wooden decks and a flagstone patio, re-landscaped our gardens and built several flagstone paths as well as a stone surround for our campfire. Mike's work is perfection and always delivered on time and on budget. He is hardworking, a good listener and communicator. Great guy to have around!

I met Mike through a workshop that he was hosting at the CMHA gardens was immediately impressed and asked him to come and look at my property - with a blank slate and lots of ideas I needed someone to bring everything together. Mike laid the foundations last summer with beautiful flagstone work front & back, prep work for flower beds and tree recommendations & installations. He continually demonstrated his professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm for all things garden related as well as tactfully making design and plant suggestions. It was a pleasure to work with Mike and I am looking forward to continuing the relationship with new projects in this and coming years. My husband and I unexpectedly met Mike at a nursery while looking for trees. After a quick introduction we hired him to help us plan our landscaping. Mike prepped an area for spring planting of cedar trees at our cottage. He trenched the area and filled it with topsoil and mulch and left the area very tidy and ready for the next step. He provided excellent design advice, gave us a detailed and accurate quote and carried out the work on time and budget. He is an excellent communicator who regularly stayed in touch with updates on the timing of the work. We highly recommend Sound Outdoors!
