Highly recommend! I have always had a pleasant experience here. Everyone is very polite and thorough, ensuring that what I am asking for style wise is met and I walk put feeling refreshed always. I have been going since they opened and have had my cut hair by both ladies prior to this salon opening. It's difficult finding a place to trust with your hair but I have never had a bad experience or hair cut here. I have also referred my grandmother and others here who also have not looked back! Amazing place!

Both Kazuko and Karina have cut my hair on numerous occasions and every time I've been very happy with the result. They take the time to listen and they take pride in their work. I feel very grateful that there are two excellent stylists to choose from and I'm glad to see their studio doing so well.

You might assume that long straight hair doesn’t need much attention in the way of a cut. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Kazuko has just done one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had. It falls beautifully in place without the need for special products or a lot of brushing and blow drying and I would agree that she is a hair style artist.

My wife and I followed Kazuko from her previous salon to Hasami Hair Studio on Wharf when she opened her own salon. I have thinning hair so need an expert to cut it. Kazuko is a Hair Artist. Her expertise with colour and precision hair cutting is pure artistry. Her schedule gets booked up fast so we always book ahead. For a cut and colour be prepared to be in the chair for at least three hours as she will ensure you’ll leave with the perfect style for your hair. As others have said, this is the best studio on the Coast. Meticulously clean, professional stylists and well appointed.

I went to Hasami Hair Studio for the first time and had my hair cut by Karina. I showed her a picture, since I was very specific about what I wanted. She took her time consulting with me and then produced the identical cut from the photo! She really listened to me and was an absolute perfectionist until the last snip. I will definitely return for future cuts and styles. Thanks for paying attention, Karina! (also, the space is lovely)
