I unfortunately have to give a 1 star for my experience ordering online. I had been looking for sweetgrass plants and clicked a link that brought me to their order page, not the website. Only after I placed my order did I get a notification that it was for pickup only. So, I quickly sent an email to rectify the situation. It then took 5 days for a response, then to be told I would be charged a restocking fee of $20.00. My bill was $33.00. I do understand that this is a small business, and I do realize that issues like this happen. But, as a first-time experience, it is not a good one.
The refund policy is not at the top of the buyers page but way at the bottom for the phone app. You would have to know to look for it.

Not sure how we found Julie, but so glad we did. I was taking inspiration from her posts as we built our orchard, and was happy to see she offered tours. I made the appointment and it was great to see the property in person,l. The fact that the tour was dedicated to what was most important for us at the time was amazing. My parents came with us, and while they are not gardeners, they truly appreciated the experience, and I think it gave them a clearer picture of what our goals were. Absolutely recommend doing a tour, taking a class, or making an order.

Rooted by the Bluffs is an unique place that we are so fortunate to have in our community. The owner, Julie, is very knowledgeable about native, edible and medicinal plants. Julie offers tours of her ecological farm and hosts many workshops. I've purchased several plants from Julie and this spring I was able to purchase two peach trees. Anytime I have a question, Julie always takes the time to respond and help me out.

I attended a lavender workshop and was very delighted by Julie's knowledge and ability to not only teach about plants, but also naturally cultivate such nature and community connection. A very lovely experience. I truly appreciate all that Julie does. In person and online. We need more small business owners who care about the earth and are willing to share how to be sustainable so others can follow.
