I am so impressed with Sackville veterinary Animal Hospital. Dr. Tyler Hughes is one of the best veterinarians I’ve ever met.
He addresses all my issues with my pets, is very compassionate, kind, and my pets are taken care of, issues addressed and they are always fine as Dr. Tyler knows exactly what they need when they need it. Dr. Tyler goes above and beyond, and goes out of his way to help me with my beloved pets. I cannot express how much this means to me as I love all my pets very very much.
The rest of the staff are equally as amazing and wonderful and so kind and sweet and address all my concerns all the time.

I used to take my cat Layla and all our animals to another animal hospital and all I can say is I am so happy I made the change to Sackville Animal Hospital. Tyler is so great with my cat Layla who isn’t great with vet visits. He gets her in quick when needed and is amazing with her. Thank you for being so great with her, I will never take a pet anywhere else.

Dr. Christina knows her stuff and answered all of my questions, leaving me feeling very confident about Luka’s dental care.

The receptionists were very helpful, kind and great at making you feel welcomed.

You can tell that the staff here really care about their patients (and fur parents).

We had recently adopted our beloved 12 yo chihuahua Bambi in May of this year. Soon after joining our family, Bambi began having some issues eating. We contacted Sackville Animal Hospital and made an appt for her. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. We saw Dr. Tyler during Bambi’s illness and he was always so compassionate and also direct with his thoughts and possible tests/treatment we could pursue, which was appreciated. He was as dedicated to her as we were. When I would call, stressed about Bambi, Brooklyn at reception handled my calls with compassion, as did Emily. When it came to bloodwork, Carol was amazing. Our Vet tech Svetlana is THE MOST AMAZING person. She spoke softly and calmly to Bambi, reassuring her that she would be ok and that nothing would hurt her. Her soft spoken voice kept Bambi calm and relaxed. When the time came that we discovered the diagnosis (mega-esophogus) and that it was fatal, Dr. Tyler was direct with me and empathetic with the news. He knew what was coming and allowed us one more weekend with our sweet girl. I called when they opened on Monday and that’s when Bambi crossed the rainbow bridge. I held her in my arms. It was peaceful and serene. Dr. Tyler never left my side while I held her and told her I loved her. He assured me it was the right thing to do by Bambi. We tried everything and in the end, she is now at rest and I feel peace that we were with the right people on this journey.

Best animal care of any Vet practice I've ever used over my lifespan (50+) with my many cats and dogs. All staff so loving, caring and professional. Dr. Tyler is the only Vet my dog will take a treat from and she's seen quite a few. He's helped us so much the past 2 years with a difficult case. He takes the time to explain everything so you understand. Was great with our other dog as well. Our family loves him (& his staff)!!

Dr Tyler is amazing, trust him completely. His partner Christina is very knowledgeable as well, very kind person. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else! Dr Ben is a great addition to the team ☺️ my puppy loves him!
