What a great place! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and talkative (you never see that in the UK with the attitude 'do not look, do not speak to me') although we discovered their prices are a bit higher: key lime pies at 8.99 or apple cinnamon chips at 3.99, strawberries at 5 CAD I think and all the other items we purchased. Their market is basically a long shed with a mini pet area (friendly goats, lambs, chicken, ducks etc) and with all kind of products and lots of flower at the other end. I really liked their 'rosemary bush tree' at the entrance - I would like to have something like this in my house and even advised us to go next door to get some catnip plant for our newly adopted 10 years old cat, after a life of abuse via her very expensive kittens the breeder bestowed on her, afterwards giving her away: I better go and give her another hug.

Well, my shopping at Elberta Farms days are officially over.. this is what I got for $18.50 here.. it’s just too expensive. All this produce is local and in season and, selling for much much cheaper at the big grocery stores.. Sorry Elberta, I want to be able to afford coming here but I have a family to feed..

I've known the Berta family for 35 + years, always greeted with a smile and sometimes a hug from Mrs. Berta. Their selection of produce is always fresh and local, the prices are more than fair for the quality that you receive. This local farming family strives to give excellent customer service, I've never been disappointed. They treat each and every customer with the utmost of care and respect. Remember folks, CANADIAN FARMERS FEED OUR FAMILIES.

We discovered Elberta’s shortly after we moved to Paris in 2019 and it has remained our favourite discovery. This little market has the friendliest staff, the silliest goats, and delicious produce and local products. We love coming in weekly to pick out produce that is actually fresh AND well priced. We also love getting to chat with the staff - they know us and we know them so each visit is like seeing a friend. It’s also so exciting to see what local products they have. There is also something new and amazing to try!

Lovely family owned business! They have fresh produce and love their butter pecan tarts and carrot cake!!! Their little farm with goats and sheep is my daughter’s favourite!

It’s okay - don’t expect more than produce and a few baked goods. No easy access on this road for cyclists and no way to eat much of anything on the spot, all requires a car to take home. No running water either.

Nothing wrong with this - but more grocery than snack spot.

Very nice produce store. Everything is organized and maintained quite well. A very good selection of local fruits and vegetables, as well as some baked and jarred goods. They also have some nursery (floral) stock. And, take a moment to visit the goats!

Very friendly staff.

Of course it costs a little more than your average supermarket. But, the quality is notable.
