Le B&B parfait! La chambre est extrêmement confortable, joliment décorée et propre et l'accueil des hôtes Lauralee et Mark est chaleureux et sympathique. Le souper fait entièrement de produits de la ferme ou des producteurs avoisinants et pendant lequel Lauralee se transforme en conteuse est délicieux et vraiment intéressant. Nous le recommandons sans hésiter.

This was an excellent way to complete our day of travels. It is on a lovely farm and very quiet. Our room was huge, the bathroom ensuite and we had access to a kitchen/great room.
We did have some difficulty casting our program onto the TV as there was no cable available but that did not hinder our relaxing evening on their very comfortable couch.
Breakfast was delicious with fresh baked blueberry scones and delicious coffee.

Cozy bnb near Gros morne and deer lake. Love the concept, permaculture farming and their support of the local community. We stayed in the sunset suite. They have a total of 4 rooms and you can rent the entire house if you have a big party. There’s a market in the front of the house with farm fresh products including herbs and fresh chicken/duck eggs. We would stay again but def bring earplugs as this is a house after all and you can hear everything.

Diese kleine Pension ist wirklich gut geführt. Die Zimmer sind tadellos und das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Man kann ein Abendessen buchen, bei dem eine Geschichte über das Anwesen erzählt wird. Dieses Angebot sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Zahlreiche Produkte werden hier frisch angebaut. Es gibt einige Tiere.

A group of us went to the Farm and Forage Experience and had an excellent time! Lauralee was a fabulous educator and we had a delicious feed of moose and foraged salad. Would recommend to anyone interested in nature and/or food or just looking for something new to try!

A new-ish place near the Trans Canada Highway. We had a lovely Farm to Table with storytelling experience upon arriving. We were held up by road construction, but they waited for us. The breakfast was great. All meals used local ingredients, some strict from their own farm. It was a lovely time.

On our trip from flying in to Deer Lake and before heading into Gros Morne we had the pleasure to stay at Upper Humber Settlement.

Beds were cozy, space is well decorated, and had a great run in with lovely other travellers. Breakfast was lovely, farm fresh eggs and great company of the inn keeper :).

In the evening we hung out in the gazebo made of timbers milled on site, headed inside and sat about and strummed on the guitar in the main room while our baby slept - great acoustics!

The add ons were super great and well worth value added - we had the charcuterie board, participated in the farm and forage tour.

A working farm stay where there is farming taking place chickens, a pig, quail, logging, and market gardening all around.

Local food grown on site - fresh greens, herbs, strawberries, jams, jellies, delectable good things.

Well worth the stay if you are up for something neat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Upper Humber Settlement. A beautiful bed and breakfast situated on a sustainable farm. The owners Mark and Lauralee are clearly working hard to be successful. We enjoyed the Farm to Table dinner, the night we arrived. It was lovely. What an experience, combined with the spellbinding storytelling from Lauralee. She had us hooked from the moment she started. The four courses served with Newfoundland Auk wines were great. Every course was lovely and memorable. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our breakfast in the morning was great and cooked and served by a lovely lady. (I forgot her name, sorry). All the food was grown on the farm. What a great experience and one of the best stays we had in Newfoundland.
