Visited this park a few weeks ago with some family and completed the Moose Trail. Was not too difficult and saw some beautiful vegetation throughout our hike. We did come across a black bear at Whitefish Lake, so just as a precaution make sure you are bear-safe! I was a tourist visiting so it was definitely a shock! If you are like me and not used to this type of wildlife make sure you are prepared for this park.

A great way to spend part of the day. We had a hard time finding our way through the Moose Trail and ended up hiking the Bear Paw path instead. It could definitely use more markers. The map at the front doesn’t match the marker colour, we took a picture before heading in so we had a copy of the map.
We went mid-may and the trail was pretty muddy, wear appropriate footwear.

Excellent family trail - tried the shortest loop (only ~800m) with our girls (4.5, walking and 2, in backpack) and they loved it. Went on to do the slightly larger 2km loop next and that was perfect. Well marked, well maintained paths. We were lucky enough to see deer walking in the woods. Will visit again.

Beautiful trail, lots of animal and plant life too see. Saw a blue jay and even a black bear! It got scared off upon seeing us but hikers should still follow bear safety.

Great trails, well marked. Some muddy areas but many of the trails near the car park are gravel. Be careful in the wet as some of the boardwalk sections can be slippery.

The trails lead through mixed woodland passed clearings and two lake views.

Lovely little trail system and the warming center Barn was quite a nice surprise on a rainy fall day. Well marked and nicely kept, but I found some puddles had to be navigated off the official trail by a few meters.
