Unfortunately this store seems to have an issue with staffing and training. I was hopeful when the North Vancouver location opened, however it is very apparent that it is nowhere near the operating level of the West Vancouver WF. I’ve had many experiences where I’ve felt there needs to be much more training in every department. Today’s example has made me never want to purchase a cake from this bakery ever again. A 50 dollar cake but not the writing to match. I hope there’s some training that can help the staff here with a service they add as complimentary - come up to the Whole Food standards we know and love.

This review is dedicated to the juice and coffee bar. It's tasty and fresh. Good selection as well. However waiting 10+ minutes for a juice is a flaw hence the 2 stars

The way they do their organic romaine lettuce now is a stupid. The produce guys have to jam and crush it onto a small shelf that destroys the leaf structure. You have to rip the lettuce apart just to get it off the shelf. Used to be great, but now it's just a sloppy slimey browning lettuce disaster.

I have been here twice while doing business up here. Love the deli. The sandwiches 🥪 are to die for. Just a nice section of deli assortments.
The store is so big compared to the one downtown. Room to go up and own the isles. It makes a big difference when its busy.

Whole Foods North Vancouver is a great spot for quick, healthy lunches. This store consistently maintains a pristine, well-stocked environment, offering a variety of items. Their salad and hot bar never disappoint, I always find something fresh to choose, however, I do wish it was less expensive for sure. They also have a tempting array of deli sandwiches and oven-fresh pizza. Fridays they have special $15 for a large cheese pizza! I also appreciate their commitment to catering to various dietary needs with vegetarian and paleo options. While it might not be the most budget-friendly option for weekly groceries, it remains my top pick for a nutritious, speedy meal when in the area.

Visited from SK and was excited to learn that Whole Foods existed in BC. They had lots of great vegan options we got to try for the first time and even the bakery had vegan croissants! We don't have anywhere like it in SK so it was difficult to leave behind. I hope we get one in SK some day.

The people who work there are lovely and that's why I gave it two stars instead of one. Also the cakes are delicious. But everything else is overpriced garbage Even when the sandwiches are fresh, they taste bad. The salad bar is pretty sad looking. The ingredients for dried and shrivel up.. And I don't know what happened to the flower department. Unless it's a coincidence that I always just go on a bad day lately. Everything is wilted and the selection is minimal. I planned on buying mixed match bouquets to scatter around my wedding but I went every day for three weeks (on my lunch breaks) and never found anything worth buying. I feel bad for the flower arrangement people who have such a crumby selection to work with. Anyway it used to be great here about a year or 2 ago but it's gone downhill

There is no way to contact the store by email, so here is my request for more medium ground beef. On the rare occasion it's available, it's perfect for smash burgers but on my recent visit, the beef was ground incorrectly and fat appears to have been substituted with fascia or silverskin. During cooking, no fat was rendered and it stuck to the pan like crazy. Please make sure to do it right. Thank you.
