wonderful animal welfare centre in Selwyn county with phenomenal, friendly and supportive staff and professionals. from my first phone call about adopting my beautiful cat rescue till the day i picked him up, communication was open, responsive and encouraging. you feel an amazing sense of welcome and community at LAWS. highly recommend visiting their website, stopping by to check them out and supporting this great organization

Adopted 2 kittens who were about 13 weeks old. They are part Norwegian Forest cat. Dee contacted me immediately when I said I was looking for a long haired kitten, and when we saw them, we had to bring both home. They looked after everything, immunizations, fixing, starter food, etc. Great process

Adopted (well foster to adopt) our kitten today. We had inquired about a week ago, looking for a cat to fit into our family. The coordinator Dee was absolutely fantastic and helped us at every step. She listened to our needs and desires and found us a perfect match! Lou Lou is settling in perfectly!

I adopted Fia, January 5th, 2024.
Everyone in this facility was very welcoming and helpful and I could not have had a better crew of people to help me and answer my questions!
I changed Fia’s name to, “moo”

We adopted our cat Lucky (aka Baboo) in August 2020. She was our little Covid kitty and we are so thankful for how accommodating they were (we were moving apartments at the time and they kept her for a week so we didn’t have to stress her with multiple moves) tonight we were laying in bed petting our perfect little fur ball And we felt the need to express how thankful we were for this facility!! They helped complete our small family

Staff was wonderful and patient with me as I picked out my perfect companion. Definitely a great place if you are looking to adopt a pet! I now have the perfect companion. Claire settled in and was comfortable in her new home almost immediately. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
