Customer for over 20 years. Not any more. Their technician came to set my sprinkler times - and after replacing a sprinkler head that was broken, I set it to 'Run' - and everything came on at once and ran for hours. So I had to turn it off. I called to say that the timers needed setting properly as they were not the first time and they wanted to charge me AGAIN for correcting what was not done properly the first time. Disgraceful customer service. So not only are they not getting the extra money that wanted to charge me but they have lost a long standing customer because of their penny pinching attitude. I will tell anyone I can not to use them. - And please don't leave a cutesy reply saying "this does not reflect etc..." I was going to ask them to set up back yard lighting for me - not any more. For wanting to rip me off for 88 bucks they have lost probably thousands in continued payments. Maybe time to rethink your customer relations. Or not - up to them

I have been using West Van Irrigation now for several years and have never regretted this. These guys have always been able to resolve any issues I've had and have always been very patient with me showing me the workings of my system. The last two times I have had Danny service my system and now winterize it today. He has always provided first class service and is super knowledgable. Wish I could always get him. Matt was with him near the end and was great also. see you next year

Horrible company. Inquired about prices and they apparently charge $150 for a quote. That’s crazy! University sprinklers did it for free and they were courteous about the entire method. So already off to a bad start.

Then I ask them how much it would cost to do a specific repair. Their manager smirked and said that I have to pay them to get that. That’s crazy. I am asking for a specific type of repair and you don’t have to diagnose anything, but apparently that costs $150.

Here’s the topping for the cake. They asked for a confirmation for an appointment they were planning to make. Here’s exactly what they said:

“Please be informed that our service call fee is $144.50 before tax. If this is acceptable to you, please confirm, and we will proceed to book an appointment for an estimate and necessary repairs.”

No confirmation was sent and I find out that they are on their way here without any warning. I tell them this and they try to get me to pay a cancellation fee. Come on! In what world is this ok. You said confirmation and no confirmation was sent. Then this. Horrible experience to say the least. Wouldn’t trust them with even looking at my sprinkler system let alone fixing it.

Some heads on one zone of our sprinkler system were not working properly, so I replaced a couple before realising ALL the sprinkler heads in that zone were not performing properly. It dawned on me there was either a leak or a bad valve, so I called WV Irrigation, who have done all our maintenance for many years. Eduardo came to check the situation, and he was brilliant - friendly, professional, and knowledgable. Elliot came by a little later to offer some assistance, and was also terrific. They solved the problem (a bad diaphragm in one of the valves) and took care of other problems we didn’t even know we had, including a significant leak in another zone. That will probably help our water bill! Highly recommended!

Gregory Scott and his crew (Eduardo and Elliott) were great. We had a broken main pipe, which passed under the front paved yard of the house. It was very difficult and costly to fix it there.
They found a solution and decided to bypass it and instead install 2 new lines feeding the 2 separate valve boxes located apart and made the whole system operational again, without any destruction at all. They stayed late and made sure the job is completely finished.
They are dedicated and nice, and experts in their field.
They are assets of the company.
I would like to thank them again for doing the job in a timely manner and so clean.

I have a customer of WV Irrigation for 20 years. Invoices received were paid on time. I had some work done in April 2023 and advised them of my new phone number and e-mail address. They did not update their records correctly and were leaving messages and e-mails to the old e-mail which I didn't get. I finally received a bill in the mail charging me late payment charges with a nasty letter saying they had repeatedly called me without any answer. I explained to them I did not get any of these and noted that on their invoice they had my old phone number and the e-mail address was incorrect.

The owner was rude and argumentative and instead of acknowledging their shoddy record keeping, she tried to blame me for giving them incorrect information.

I will never do business with them again. They lost a valued 20 year client due to their poor customer service attitude.
