What is all the fuss about the smell? I don't care if it smells like urethane and pig poop out of its packaging, if I can eat any semblance of pasta without spiking my blood sugars, I am ALL IN. I haven't had any noodles in three months, and this, in a mix of Thai stir fry, was absolutely delicious, and I couldn't tell any difference between it and the real stuff. Granted, I am just 30 min post-meal, but so far NO glucose spike - fingers crossed. Perhaps the nutritional content, to make a pasta-like noodles, poses other health concerns, but right now, Im super impressed.

When you open the package the strong rubber smell will definitely disgust you ...
what I had to do is to stir fry the noodles with lots of black pepper and salt to take the taste away.
I won't purchase again...
I kept looking at the ingredients and I am not sure where this GOD awful smell comes from
I like to eat not processed , simple food but these noodles smell and texture scream fake and processed food

Definitely do not recommend

the only reason this product looked appealing to me was that I wanted pasta and the whole package was 25 calories ...

I love these noodles. Yes, they do have a weird fishy smell to them when you first open the package but once rinsed as it says to do while prepping, the smell is gone. Super easy to prepare. They take to any taste and are so low in calories you can't go wrong. I like the texture. I'll never go back to regular pasta noodles again. I use this for pastas and Asian dishes and they taste great! The only downside is they are a little watery, so sauces don't quite absorb as good into the noodle but overall great product! Order by the box and get it shipped, it's worth it.

I keep reading reviews about the smell and taste. But if you follow the directions and rinse and drain the noodles they have no taste and no smell. We have great success pan frying these noodles to heat them up then we add them to whatever dish we’re making. I have also added them into soups. We don’t find them chewy and they are a great pasta alternative if you’re looking for a low carb option.

Loved it! Have tried with shrimp and garlic, red pasta sauce and can’t wait to try with Asian food, worth the money to offer a low cal and fiber rich alternative. I felt like I was cheating! Def needs good rinse! Texture doesn’t bother me I enjoy it and don’t mind if sauce slips off it’s all in my mouth eventually!

Seems a lot of Western people here reviewing haven't tried Asian glass noodles or even know what seaweed smells like for them to get all fussy for nothing. These noodles are GREAT!
No foul smell at all, only a hint of a Dulse scent that immediately vanishes once rinsed (cause you gotta rinse them of course). Heated them up, added tasty veggies of kale, spinach, tomatoes, avocado & an egg with sprinkles of nutritional yeast. And voilà! YUMMY homemade poke bowl!

I have used both the miracle noodles and this one and actually prefer this one. First of all the fishy smell when the pack is opened is a lot less intense. And its tasteless and absorbs the taste of whatever sauce you make. It does need some prep work to get the right taste. I usually rinse it thoroughly with warm water and then let it sit in warm, salty water for an hour or if I am making Asian I soak it 2 Tbsp of soy sauce, some rice vinegar and sriracha sauce. Then I just mix it in whatever sauce I prepared. Tastes even better a day later when it has had a chance to absorb the flavors.
