I’ve seen so much hype on social media that I knew I needed to try it once at least. It’s a small place to sir down and have your coffee. Pretty clean and quiet.

Now for what we ordered we had:

Iced mocha: really good blend of coffee and chocolate. Was not too sweet and very rich and indulgent. Lots of ice. Would be getting it again but it’s not a unique drink that you cant get somewhere else. (4/5 stars)

Iced strawberry matcha latte: it was rich matcha without it being bitter, not a sweet drink. Had strawberry pure and had lots of ice. From all the iced strawberry matcha that I’ve tried I think it’s the best one I’ve had. However I would not get it again just because of the $2 difference between the normal matcha latte and this one. I feel the strawberries don’t justify the price. (4/5 stars)

Matcha croissant with red bean cream: We ordered this one because it had overwhelmingly good reviews online. However, it sadly disappointed us.
PROS: The size is big for the price you are paying. It is also very filling and its not too sweet so I think it would pair well with their drinks as they are not sweet as well. Very rich butter flavour. CONS: There’s no matcha flavour, and no red bean flavour at all in the croissant and the cream. I tried having them separate and together and didn’t taste like much both ways. From all the matcha pastries I’ve had in Toronto this one is the most disappointing one I have ever had. The red bean cream is there, theres a lot of it inside but is lacking that red bean flavor as well. If you love matcha as much as I do, do not get it. Extremely disappointing. (2/5 stars)

Mushroom Alfredo pastry: it was good, not too salty or oily. Mushroom was really good, alfredo sauce was barely there. Croissant is good, goes well with the mushrooms. (3.5/5 stars)

Pistachio babka:
I think this one was the best thing we got from the store. Around $15 can feed two people. The flavour is good, pistachio but not overpowering and very natural flavour, not overly sweet. It seems that they do like a pistachio paste and put it on the baked good. From everything we got we think we might get it again. Really good when its still warm. (4.5/5 stars)

Brick & Butter Bakehouse makes some of the best croissants in Toronto, especially the milk cream croissant, which is absolutely to die for. They also have a great variety of other pastries on the menu that I am excited to try next time. The coffee and other drinks are solid too, and I was thrilled to find a matcha strawberry latte!

This spot has officially become part of our weekend morning walk routine.

The patio has a relaxed vibe with about 3–4 tables, and there are another 2–3 tables inside for a cozy option.

It was on my list for a while and finally got a chance to check it out today. Shop was nice and bright. They have a nice selections of viennoiseries and couple of cakes and financier. Picked a couple of items and they all tasted good. High quality pastries. Chocolate babka was one of my favorite.
PS - fresh bread and pastries doesn't need to heat/warm up, rather you should enjoy at room temperature, if you prefer to warm it up just do it at home or just go to Starbucks.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot in North York with exceptional coffee, this cafĂ© is a must-visit! The coffee is rich, smooth, and full of flavor—clearly crafted with care. Their pastries are just as impressive: fresh, perfectly baked, and the ideal complement to a cup of coffee.

The space itself is very clean, modern, and neatly organized, which makes it a pleasant place to sit and relax. What really makes the experience stand out, though, is the staff—they are genuinely positive, welcoming, and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk in.

Overall, a hidden gem in North York that combines great taste, a clean environment, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Cute bakery near Finch station, off the main street but still close by. The baked goods are great. The matcha is tasty, but I strongly recommend getting it with lactose-free milk instead of oat milk as it makes a big difference. I’ve tried the financiers which were tasty and they have a good variety of them, and I had to try the matcha red bean cream croissant. The croissant personally there was too much filling, though that might be a personal preference. I would definitely say that this croissant is more to be shared than for one person just because it tastes so rich.

There’s very limited seating, but they have both indoors and outdoors.

One of my top 5 favorite croissants and baked goods spots in the city!
Favorites are black sesame croissant and mushroom Alfredo!
Tiger which is their version of financier deserves a special shoutout. Tried the matcha flavor but can’t wait to go back and try all the other ones they have.
Strawberry mascarpone and the choco crunch cupcakes were delicious as well.

Impressed by the savoury croissant. Very crispy and smells fantastic. Many pistachios are added in the pistachios babka but the taste is overwhelmingly covered by butter. Red bean cream croissant is better than the original cream one. Those cream are good because it’s light and not that sweet. Also, all of them are huge so I suggest you to share with someone. A little bit overprice. Probably come back again if I really want to have a savoury croissant one day.

My first time visiting and I tried their milk cream croissant — it was soooooo good! The croissant was soft and flaky, and the inside was filled with fresh whipped cream. It’s not overly sweet! I’ll definitely be back to try more items
