After a 20 year hiatus I decided this past Fall to go back to a sport I love - equestrian riding. I was hoping to join a premier riding stables but was unsure if it was out there in the GTA as it had been before when I rode. I was looking for a stables that was outstanding inside and out, was very well operated and most importantly took great care of their horses. I visited a few places and then I found Top Rails and had a tour with their incredible stables manager. She gave us so much of her time and answered all our questions. It was at this time I realized I found a stables I had been looking for. A stables that offers an excellent riding school, different options for riding and leasing, and a welcoming atmosphere. Their employees are an amazing group of people, the care of the horses is top notch and their riding coaches, especially Pam S. are some of the best in the GTA. When you are in a lesson with Pam S. she brings out the best in you and wow you learn so much. Dr. Kim and Jeremy are a great team and as a client I appreciate their dedication to the sport, to Top Rails, to their clients and horses. They are wonderful to deal with and their passion for this sport is seen everywhere at the stables. Thank you Top Rails Stables for all you do. I highly recommend them and am so happy I found them!!

A beautiful stable with lovely people! Instructors for all levels are kind and patient. Such a welcoming atmosphere and the animals are well taken care of!

A beautiful growing barn, where you can board, lease and take lessons with knowledgeable instructors. Instructors thrive to make lessons interesting and fun while making sure students learn the safest ways to be around horses. Top rails offers a huge property very well maintained with lots of rings and trails to explore.
It is a very welcoming atmosphere with amazing animals that are well taken care of!

I rode here in summer 2022 and loved the facility very much. So beautiful, clean, and well maintained (which is hard to come across in the gta I’ve noticed). I originally wrote a review stating an issue I had with an instructor that taught me, however the owners have addressed my issues and that instructor no longer works there which is good news. I would like to say Trish is a great instructor and very kind. I hadn’t rode in over 5 years due to an injury and Trish helped me get back my saddle seat! I am hard of hearing and she was very accommodating for me, making sure I was never left out. At the time I stopped riding here they didn’t have many horses, though all were great and very sweet. I hear they have more horses now at a new location, which I’m hoping to check out.

⚠️Detailed Review⚠️

Barn: Beautiful boarding barn but the lesson barn isn’t the nicest at all, the stall walls are like whiteboard and the border of the whiteboard is metal which is really the only thing that is holding it together. They don’t have a ton of shavings in their stall, and they have 1/4 of hay.

Arena: A gorgeous large arena with mirrors and a small viewing area for parents to watch kids ride. They have a heating lamp but they didn’t turn it on when I was there.

Campus: A gorgeous plot of land, could probably host shows there because of how many outdoor arenas they have.

My daughter has been with Top Rail for years now, She has learned so much there and improved greatly with the instructions from there great coaches! She also loves to volunteer there and she learns a lot about the horses from Dr, Kim and staff. Thank you all so much for making Jenna a better and more confident rider and teaching her all the aspects that comes with riding that she really needs to no. Not to mention Top Rail is a gorgeous Stable and the views are stunning 😊
