Excellente expérience au restaurant libanais El Gourmet ! La qualité de la nourriture est incroyable, surtout les Machawi de kafta, un vrai délice. Le service est à la fois professionnel et attentionné, toujours à l’écoute des clients. Ce qui rend l’endroit encore plus spécial, c’est la section boucherie où l’on peut acheter de la viande tendre et du kafta préparé avec des épices savoureuses. Il y a aussi une épicerie sur place. Un lieu magique où l’accueil chaleureux et les sourires vous donnent envie de revenir. Une vraie perle de la cuisine libanaise !

Excellent experience at this Lebanese restaurant El Gourmet! The quality of the food is incredible, especially the Kafta Machawi—absolutely delicious. The service is both professional and attentive, always making sure the customers are well taken care of. What makes this place even more special is the butcher section where you can buy tender meat and kafta, prepared with flavorful spices. There’s also a grocery section on-site. A magical spot where the warm smiles and kindness of the staff make you want to come back again. A true gem of Lebanese cuisine!

Clean and well maintained place! It’s a small super market which is very well organized with a butcher bar and dine in/takeout. We tried their mix grill platter, food was fresh with authentic flavours. I can definitely say that they know how to work with meat! Everything was super tender and not overly cooked. Hummus was creamy and tabouli was freshly made.

Food is good, clean and they take a lot of care in preparation. Shawarma sandwiches are done properly with right amount of ingredients and beef done to perfection. Their falafel is excellent with crispy outside and soft inside I will give is 8 out of 10. Staff were very nice and pleasant and staff stop by few times to chat with us. The owner was kind and present us with free salad bowls one of his new creations. In addition they have groceries shelves stuff with a lot of mid eastern good and a butcher counter. Overall was an excellent experience.

Decided to try something new today based off recommendations from Durham Region eats… So glad we did. I ordered a mixed Shawarma with Extra turnip. My wife ordered chicken Shawarma.

We also decided to get some desserts.

Customer service was top-notch With a very welcoming environment. Food was super fresh and unbelievably delicious. We will definitely be coming back again.

This is an amazing, great, new place. Authentic food, and today we got a promotion. We got falafel sandwiches, and I also tried baba ganoush, and my wife ordered one berry tart, and one chocolate eclair, and everything was amazing. Absolutely recommend. This is a legit place, extremely clean, and there is a home feeling to it, like a little piece of Lebanon, where we would wish to travel one day. Thank you for having us. People are absolutely lovely, welcoming us like family. Thank you.

Whether you're dining in or taking out, the staff goes above and beyond to make your day better with their warm hospitality and delicious food.

They also offer a great selection of drinks, including refreshing mojitos and other tasty options. El Gourmet is the place to go if you're craving authentic Lebanese cuisine. Don't wait, bring your family and enjoy a meal that will leave you coming back for more!

This new Lebanese supermarket offers a visually appealing shopping experience with its modern aesthetics. However, when it comes to product variety, it falls short compared to established chains like Adonis. While the store's overall appearance is impressive, the selection of goods could be more extensive.
We were particularly disappointed with the spinach feta cheese pies. The quality and flavor left much to be desired. On the brighter side, the chicken shawarma was a satisfying choice, offering decent taste.
While the store itself is pleasant and well-maintained, a minor incident involving two staff members arguing in Arabic behind the kitchen counter was a negative point. It created a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere.
Overall, this new Lebanese supermarket has potential but needs to improve its product variety and address customer service issues to truly stand out in the competitive market.
