Wonderful boarding facility. By far the best one I`ve been to so far with no plans to leave. Super clean facility with amazing footing in both the indoor and extra large outdoor arenas. Manager always available for open discussion and will promptly communicate any observations in regards to horses to the owners. Horses are very well taken care of. When I moved my gelding to a new paddock, once we discovered he was being bullied by a couple other geldings and started losing weight, manager moved him to another paddock right away and he is now super happy with his new friends. Highly recommend!

I cannot think of a better place for people to practice what, at the end of the day, got us all here. Love horses!

Katie and her family go above and beyond to make sure the animals are looked after and the facility is maintained. The individuals that come for lessons learn theory, practical horsemanship and how to ride. They have fun! Furthermore the facility is kept tidy, safe and functional. Katie is a young professional and a breath of fresh air in this very small Atlantic Canadian industry!

I am happy that my horse and myself can be a part of Howling Creek Farm!

A clean family owned boarding facility where safety, care of the horse and communication between boarder/stable is of upmost importance. I have no complaints. The perfect place to board my spicy 5yo. They always try to accommodate your needs as best as they can and if its not possible they are honest about it. They send regular updates on your horse and are always open for great communication and to answer any and all questions. A great place to be if you want to know your horse is in the best care and also a great place for you to maybe learn a thing or two in the process.

Even with a lesson program finding time in the arena is no problem.

Having been there prior to the new barn being built and going thru that big change and process they went thru- I will never leave. They also have the best barn cat. To top it ALL off❤️

I was very disappointed, we brought our horse in June and asked only 1 thing that he stays out every night as he’s only 2 and wasn’t used to stay in at night, come to find out by other boarders, he was being brought in every night and then we started having behavioural issues with him. Come September we wanted to discuss it with the manager but she was away for a month and it was all kinds of people doing shores. Come October when she’s back she offered outside board at a lower price but come November 1st her mother doing accounting is short on board so the manager is coming back for more money so we pay the full board. But our stall is being used by another horse and we can’t use the stall that we’re paying full board for. December comes around and she tells us to move out and we only have 30 days to do so. We are happily gone but what a poor way to treat people and horses. The young manager is just not business savvy and is inexperienced.

We then learned that we’re not the first ones to be asked to leave in 30 days and they just did the same thing to a young 15 year old boy and his horse.

Barn is full of drama and is being run with emotions.

Managed by a young inexperienced person, money comes first over animal care. Can only see and do things 1 way if you don’t follow or suggest a different way, you will be asked to leave within 30 days and during that 30 days you will have to deal with the angry (trying to intimidate) papa. I’ve been in business for over 30 years and I’ve never kicked out money and I’ve been in the horse world for close to 20 years and this is by far the worst place I’ve seen. It’s not worth the move. Property will be up for sale soon.

Kind family run business where animal welfare and a healthy barn atmosphere for clients comes first.
