I bought a large decorative boulder and Artistic came to deliver it to my front yard. They brought a big truck and used the crane arm to position the boulder. This was not easy as we wanted to position the boulder behind my large tree. They were very careful and patient and managed to position it in the spot we wanted and orient it in just the right way. They were great to deal with and the boulder looks fantastic.

Good place to get garden design and landscaping services. The garden centre area however is now much smaller. The perennials, roses, shrubs, and trees they carry now are just the usual stuff you get from growers in southern Ontario and BC. Still worth visiting but not the unique selection of own grown propagated plants they once offered. And no more acres of land to wander through at the back looking at trees, shrubs, and elven folk with gnarled hands propagating plants. All the land past the creek was sold last year.

If you do go to Artistic, take 10 minutes to walk through Mrs. Schmitz' landscaped show garden at the front of the building. In years past, you might have found her weeding there. It is worth a visit just to see the mature flowering shrubs and trees probably 30 to 40 years old. And, check out the large ginkgo tree near the front door, at least 60 years old and one of the largest in Ottawa.

Frustrated. Ordered stones and needed delivery. Asked if could be delivered Friday morning. Said sure they would try their best. By 11am on Friday morning, nothing. Called and guy said should be there early afternoon. By 4pm, still nothing. Called again and guy said dont know what's wrong with driver. Offered no solutions, not even to get a hold of driver to see what's going on. Just said 'he knows'. By 6pm still nothing. Business closed. No update. Nothing. Took the day off in hopes to get started on this project. And they charge $200 for delivery they seemingly cant gurantee or have absolutely no control over. Down a day's wage and $200. Thanks alot. Other businesses offer much better service and guranteed/accurate deliveries. Gave an extra star as they made sure to deliver first thing next morning.

Great place to shop a variety of plants that you won’t be able to get from the big buck stores. Cute and pretty staff to assist you with great knowledge.

We had the chance to use them for a small side yard design and couldn't be happier.
Andrea the designer and her crew of two were fantastic.
