Sent a message and got a reply 10 days later. No show at first estimate appointment. Showed up on the second one. Agreed on what to do and price. A week later no show the first job date, no show at the second job date. Gave up on him as not serious. Be aware. The real rating is zero (0) stars.

Don't let this guy's chill demeanour fool you - Max means business. And if you happen to be a tree on the receiving end of his service, he's a force to be reckoned with.

We had a 50' or so spruce on our property that had been circling the drain for a couple years and, though we were dreading the moment, my wife and I finally decided it was time to have it removed.

Max showed up exactly when he said we would to give us a quote (which was extremely reasonable, by the way). When we agreed, he showed up exactly when he said he would to do the work. And within 45-60 minutes of his arrival, that tree was history.

His grinder was in the shop that day, so he came back a few days later (again, exactly when he said he would) to finish the job and collect payment.

Very happy with his work. I hope to not have to remove any more trees, but if I do, Max's Tree Service will definitely be the one I call!

Max and his team did an amazing job taking down a large maple that was located very close to our garage and driveway. There was also a Rogers cable line running through it, but that was not an issue at all. They took it down no problem and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. This is the second time we have had Max to our house for tree removal and both times have been a great experience! Highly Recommended!

This was the first time we hired Max's Tree service, but I had seen his signs around our neighbourhood and he came highly recommended by neighbours. Max and his crew did not disappoint! They did a fantastic job. They removed a tree in a tricky spot and expertly avoided damaging any underground irrigation. They also pruned a massive willow and restored its magnificence. Max also hedged some overgrown boxwoods artistically and they look better than they ever have! All the crew's work was done expertly and when they finished up the yard was spotless. They worked efficiently and I highly recommend them. I will be using them again every time we need tree services.

First class experience. Removed a large maple tree from backyard. On time for estimate. On time for actual removal. Tight access to rear yard - not a problem. The cleanup of branches and debris was immaculate. The entire process took only 3 hours. The last hour Max had to climb the remaining lower part of the tree during the start of the first snowstorm of the winter. No problem! Will definitely be calling Max back next year to do some trimming of trees that are growing way too tall for an urban yard.
